Last couple of days forum has been VERY SLOW to let us post likes at the bottom of posts; loading posts, saying the page can't be found, unless I hit the refresh button; and how this morning when I went to attach I get this.....

failed.JPG (<- although that seemed to parse fine). I'm wondering if we've run out of ram/memory?

So far this morning I have not been having any issues loading the site.

I am using cable internet (Spectrum), Windows 10, with Brave.

I have had the same issues; it was also that way this morning, but now (after shopping), it isn't as bad. I was starting to suspect a denial of service attack or something.

It's been really bad here... at times. Probably the last 72 hours. I kept looking at my wifi icon, expecting it to show total internet outage... but it showed full connectivity. We have a very redneck internet setup here, with CAT6 cable running about 400 yards between the house and the barn/shop router. DS sliced it in half plowing snow this winter, and the spliced connector gets water inside.

But yes, the site will just sit there "loading".. and refreshing the page, etc doesn't help.

Yeah, having the same issues on my computer for this site. Slow loading and "page not found" for a couple of days now.

When it's just some peeps having issues, much harder to troubleshoot.

Tim said the servers and data center look OK.

It's working better now, at least I can attach. But it's still taking time loading pages/posts. (10:51 am central time)

If you know how to do a trace route, Tim can maybe spot a stumble spot in the routing to our server from the results, if a few peeps can contribute.

There are fairly easy instructions available from a quick search...even I figured it out. :D

I'm starting a thread in the BS for any results you come up with. The results will show your public subnet, but not public IP.

So are you saying it's possible that members, spread all across the country may be having the same problems, regardless of all the different internet carriers? Could this have been done through Windows updates?

Hellifino.

My world is nuts n bolts n hammers n welders n such.

I barely speak the language.

Tim asked for some tracert results.

It took a few minutes to figure out how to get those results, he thinks in digital voo-doo.

I'm just trying to help get him what he needs to sort it out.
