Gold was about $20.68 an ounce in 1913. Gold today is about $2658.00 which is .00778 or less the one cent. Just because the Fed and the lackeys in Washington try to tell us it is worth 3.6 cents doesn't make it so. In the thirty's FDR took the gold away for Americans (Stole it unconstitutionally) and made it about $35.00 shortly after and using that number it is worth about 1.3 cents. They pick whatever point they want to start or end but it doesn't make their numbers legit.Much to optimistic, the current dollar is worth 3.6 cents US, when it was still backed by gold.
