I've wanted one of these for years, my bike was stolen 2 years ago, loved it because of the excellent front shock system (shoulder surgery makes it rough to ride bikes) and always hoped I'd get it back.

I'll have to save my $ and get one of these, I have a bike carrier for the car, but it would be easier to put the bike in the back seat and just go.

On every trip I carried a bicycle either on a hitch rack, or in the remaining space of my Short Bed Dodge Cummins 4x4. Later I copied this same format with a folding bike in my daily driver.

A bicycle is a force multiplier over a pair of running shoes or hiking boots, and can serve you well with even minimum conditioning on your part. With panniers off a rear or front rack, you could pedal away from your roadside trouble with a considerable amount of gear if the situation warranted such a move. With a trailer, your cargo handling ability may increase to four fold of your back packs comfortable load limits.
