Wouldn't you know plenty of flooding here. What keeps growing literally underwater: johnson grass. Hate it. Would love to get the propane torch out after it, but not very effective at this.point and time
The only way I was finally able to get rid of the Johnson grass in my garden was to faithfully go out and cut the seed stalks off of it every day, and then I just sat down on the ground with a little hand spade and followed those awful roots one at a time until they were totally gone. It took on and off all summer because there were several patches of it, but I did it and it never came back. I was lucky, then and I hope to never see it here again!
