i live in a place where we all pray for Gods hand of protection and rain with no lightening strikes. many prayers for all of us in the dry areas the good Lord protect us all , our communities and counties. and may the good Lord send His feisty angels to stomp on the scum who thinks its funny to light up some brush to see the locals come running and idiot city campers who dont know what a Red Flag Warning is and want their bonfires..
in Jesus Name Amen

That's more of a concern to me right now than the virus. We are definitely in fire season here. We've had some thunder, but little to no rain. Fortunately, so far, no lightning fires.

Weekends here are wild with tourist traffic, and as someone else mentioned, idiots camping who feel the need to have campfires in spite of no burning warnings. I've lived way to close to 2 major wildfires and never want that experience again.

We've had a good amount of rain in the last few days, filled up DH 12 water tanks. However, no more rain in sight and much hotter temps predicted. Dog days are here in Louisiana and they are miserable.

It's so hot, wet, and humid down here that you would have trouble striking a match outdoors much less try to start a fire. It's gonna be a while, before our fire season starts. Usually in the Fall. Then, we're begging for rain.

Duchess47, sorry I haven't been back. Yes, the Pinenut Fire. We had a horrendous fire season a few years ago and now it looks like this season may be a bad one again. I'm so glad I moved out of the foothills to irrigated land.
