This story in England's Daily Mail shows what I have long said: Hellary Clinton is not going to be elected in November of 2016. Her negatives are astoundingly high for a candidate trying to win the general election. For one thing, a staggering 62 percent of American voters think Hellary Clinton is "untrustworthy." A mere 38 percent think she is. This is what she faces nearly one year from the election. The ongoing damage from her multiple scandals will only get worse over the next year.
This means while Hellary Clinton will no doubt be the Democratic Party nominee for President, SHE WILL GET CRUSHED IN THE GENERAL ELECTION.

Hillary Clinton trails EVERY top-tier Republican in national poll as Marco Rubio leads her by 8 points – and even Chris Christie could edge her in a general election

PRIMARY: TRUMP 28 / CARSON 18 / CRUZ 14 / RUBIO 14 / BUSH 5
Marco Rubio has the biggest lead over Hillary in a hypothetical head-to-head 2016 matchup at 8 points
Jeb Bush would beat Clinton by 6, but nearly 1 in 10 registered voters say they would skip voting if the two family legacy candidates were their choices
Donald Trump and Ben Carson lead Hillary by 5 points; Ted Cruz is up by 4; and even Chris Christie could top Clinton by 3
Carly Fiorina, the GOP field's only woman, can barely muster a tie with Hillary

Donald Trump is still polling far in front of his Republican presidential rivals, but any of a half-dozen GOP prospects could beat Hillary Clinton in a general election, according to a new survey of registered voters.

Despite The Donald's ten-point Republican primary margin over his nearest competitor Ben Carson, it's Sen. Marco Rubio – who is tied for third place – who has the sharpest edge against the Democratic former secretary of state.

Rubio would trounce her by a 50-42 margin if the 2016 election were held today instead of more than 11 months from now.

UP AND DOWN: Marco Rubio would beat Hillary Clinton by 8 percentage points if the 2016 presidential election were held today

NO DYNASTY – STAYING HOME: A Jeb Bush vs. Hillary Clinton matchup would drive the most voters away from the polls on Election Day

IN A DEEP HOLE: Hillary Clinton would lose the general election to every top GOP candidate if it were held today, according to t shocking new Fox News Channel poll

Jeb Bush, who can only attract the support of 3 per cent of Republicans, would somehow muster enough party loyalty to beat Clinton by a 45-39 split.

Both numbers are low: About 9 per cent of registered voters told Fox News Channel pollsters that if Bush and Clinton were their parties' nominees, they would rather stay home than choose between two legacy presidents.

Hillary Clinton's husband Bill was America's 42nd president. Jeb Bush's father George H.W. Bush preceded Clinton; his brother George W. Bush followed him.

The news for Trump fans is almost as good as for Bush lovers. The Donald would beat Hillary by a 46-41 score – the same five point margin that would decide a clash between Clinton and Ben Carson.

The retired doctor would best Hillary by a 47-42 score.

The winning margin against Clinton would be smaller for Sen. Ted Cruz – just 4 points – but that's still larger than the margin of error.

Even lowly New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, whose campaign is on life support, could overpower Hillary by a 46-43 tally.

WHO DO YOU TRUST? Polling ranks the candidates % WHO SAY THEY ARE 'HONEST AND TRUSTWORTHY'
Ben Carson 53% (DOWN 7 since Nov. 1)
Marco Rubio 51% (UP 10)
Jeb Bush 47% (up 4)
Ted Cruz 45% (up 7)
Carly Fiorina 41% (up 4)
Donald Trump 41% (up 3)
Hillary Clinton 38% (up 3)

Despite that weak showing, Hillary Clinton performed even worse.

WIth the Democratic Front-runner continually dogged by ethical questions and an FBI investigation related to her classified email scandal, Clinton got the honesty hat-tip from just 38 per cent of voters.

Everyone in the field posted gains on the ethics question except for Carson, whose 'honesty' number was down 7 points since the beginning of the month.

Carson has faced a barrage of tough interviews and an avalanche of negative news cycles about his claims that he was a violent youth who once tried to stab a family member to death and swung at his mother with a hammer.

Pick up his slack is Rubio, whose honesty number has surged by 10 points in the last three weeks.
THE 2016 FIELD: WHO'S IN, WHO'S QUIT AND WHO'S STILL THINKING IT OVER

A whopping 17 people from America's two major political parties are candidates in the 2016 presidential election.

The field includes two women, an African-American and two Latinos. All but one in that group – Hillary Clinton – are Republicans.

At 14 candidates, the GOP field is without two early dropouts but still deeper than ever after one current and one former governor bowed out.

A much smaller group of three Democrats includes a former secretary of state, a former governor and a current senator.

It takes 270 electoral votes, in order to decide the
election for POTUS.

Currently, the democrats have 242 votes guaranteed,
as 18 states, with big electoral votes, have voted democratic
in every election, since 1992.

It matters not, who the democrat nominee eventually is,
the democrats can rest assured, that they will have these states
yet again, in their win column.

The democrats know that the POTUS is theirs to loose.

Only a few states will decide the POTUS.

We are so screwed.

Well Nowski, I would like to see that list. Second, 2016 is the most radically different political year since the 1860 election of Lincoln.

The only states I see Hellary Clinton carrying are Washington, Oregon and California, New Mexico, Colorado, Ilinois, New York, Massachusets and maybe, Washington DC. I DO NOT SEE HELLARY CARRYING A SINGLE SOUTHERN, MOUNTAIN, MIDWESTERN OR NEW ENGLAND STATE at all. She will not carry Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania. In fact, the list I gave is one she may lose some of those hard core Democratic states.

Hellary is widely despised by rank and file Democrats. You should note that up to 10 percent of Democratic voters will not go to the polls if she is the nominee.

I will not count her out of the race until and unless she has been indited, convicted and is behind bars like anyone else would be who released classified information.

Doomer Doug. It is going to be a vastly different election this
time around no doubt.

I did some searching on electoral college results,
and found the following website. Apparently, some research
about the results was recently performed.

They list the states, for both democrat and republican,
and the republicans have a hard row to hoe,
just based on past election history.
