Making the rounds this morning and as much as I hated to I clicked on MSDNC and the three minutes I watched I learned that I was a racist and a cultist because I supported anything Trump has done and the only reason the economy is doing so well is because of Obama’s policies and Trump is only riding his coattails. Cutting taxes, regulations, opening Anwar and everything else Trump has done to ramp up the economy has absolutely nothing to do with it. Cognitive Dissonance = MSNBC.

Late to the party here, had to work last night. However, I was able to stream it on my phone and listen while I drove.
The President's classy acts of honoring Rush, General Mcgee, and all the others will never be forgotten.
I do believe that tearing up his speech is the main thing Pelosi will be remembered for.

IF Congress had any damned integrity left in their institution they would call the congresswoman to stand in the well of the house and formally censure her for her immature and boorish behavior last evening. It's the State of the Union address, not the Pelosi comedy stand up hour. SHAME on you Ms Pelosi.

Good speech. So many positive developments to crow about, and he did a great job of highlighting and sharing the credit. Altogether very humble ( for Trump) ;) inclusive and heartwarming. I think maybe the trend for these asides to various common folk-everyday heroes is getting a little thick and contrived, but that might be my INTJ speaking.

Nancy Pelosi really screwed up by tearing up the speech. She's been hanging out with that white-robed bunch of tunnel-vision nitwit Dem women too long. Of course, the counter in the media is that Trump didn't shake her hand at the beginning, but he didn't shake the Veep's hand either. BFD.

I think so too.

A refresher course for those who didn't keep up with the politics leading up to the war.

There was a tremendous amount of negotiating since about the 1820's, to keep the government in balance between Dem's and the opposing party (early on it was called the Whig's and then late 1850 became the Republican Party). With the election of Lincoln in a 4 way race, and him not gaining the popular vote. Negotiations came to an end, due to the refusal of the Lincoln administration to not participate. The only recourse was action, and that was session. South Carolina in Dec. 1860.

For today it looks like the contempt for the other party has gotten to the point where they can't talk/respect each other and the only recourse is action. Meaning the Dem's of today, and the Rep's of Lincoln's day are the same.

President Trump mentioned Kavanaugh as he recalled his administration’s rapid progress in confirming new judges to the federal bench, including Supreme Court Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch.

The camera panned to the justices, all of whom smiled — including liberal Justice Elena Kagan.

But for Tlaib, it was simply too much to bear, as she told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow:
I think, you know, even the mention of Brett Kavanaugh for me is a trigger, just as a woman in America, the fact that he, you know, rightfully was accused [sic] and having an incredibly strong woman come before the public and the world and tell her story of sexual assault by this person that was appointed to the Supreme Court is just alone, that — I couldn’t stand still and not do anything about it, and I needed to walk away from that.

I envision a really great Trump TV ad coming soon showing snippets of his dozen announcements at the SOU speech last night of record low unemployment for everybody, and then blacks, then hispanics, then women, and numerous other accomplishments, etc., etc. with quick shot each time of demoncrat sour pusses sitting on their ass each time, while the rest of the room erupts in clapping. Then wrap up with a shot of Pelosi tearing up the speech, with voice over, "So, who do you think really cares most about improving things for your family!?!"

PS - To me, I've no doubt at all that she could as readily tear up the Constitution, if she thought it'd further her agenda.

I wasn’t sure I was going to tune in for the State of the Union Speech last night. I am very glad I did.

If you needed any further evidence that a Civil War is coming, go watch the Speech in its entirety.

These Democrats/Communist/Swamp Creatures flat out hate us. They showed their asses at every opportunity they could. They showed that they hate everything we stand for, everything we love, and everything we want America to be. These Communist among us threw an immature temper tantrum last night and I rather enjoyed it. They refused to clap for record low unemployment, record rising wages for blue-collar jobs, shrinking food stamp and welfare rolls, energy independence, the list goes on, and of course, Rush Limbaugh’s Medal of Freedom. That was a tactically brilliant move on the President’s part to make those Commies sit there in silence while his wife put that medal around Limbaugh’s neck.

Look I’m not the biggest fan of President Trump. But what was there to complain about with his speech? Honestly it was one of the best SOTU speeches I’ve heard. Trump if anything is a brilliant showman. He handed these swamp creatures their ass last night on a silver platter. It was a thing of beauty. I think that is why Trump resonates with so many people. He fights! He could’ve delayed the speech until after his acquittal today, but nah, he went out there and beat them to death. It was rather comical. Trump served up one shit sandwich after another last night and made the Communist Democrats eat them all.

So if you have watched any of the impeachment clown show and the SOTU address, you should understand that Civil War is inevitable. These Democrats/Communist will never accept what us Deplorables did to them. They will never accept Trump. But more importantly they will never accept us. They will not accept our views of the world, our ideals, our guns and our religions. We are a very different people from these commies on the left. We value the individual. We value free thought, free speech, free religion, we value freedom. They hate us for it. They aim to rule us, and we will not be ruled by them. They will never give up their quest to implement socialism/communism. They never quit and they’ll never stop. We the People are the enemy. Yesterday should have shown everyone that.

Yes it is an official government document and is not hers. It belongs to the National Archives and she should receive the full penalty of the law for destroying what belongs in the National Archives. The Capitol Police and the FBI should be investigating her now. Joking aside she needs to be charged.

Actually I was laughing. What I saw was Nancy handing Trump his reelection with that little stunt. Hope she enjoys her last few months as speaker before being stabbed in the back by her own people when they lose the majority after the election. About the only thing that could save her is coronavirus and a crippled economy.
