This email is *NOT* from Ebay. It is from scam artists. When you click the link, you will be sent to a website that looks like an official Ebay site, but is not. It will prompt you to enter all your Ebay account info, including username and password, and credit card info. Once they have that, you are screwed. I have been getting these emails daily for the last couple of weeks.

Here is another version of the Ebay phishing scam:

There are also fraudulent emails pretending to be from Ebay potential buyers querying you about your items for sale. There will be a box in the corner of the email with a short paragraph about Ebay email scams, with a link to explain how to report fraud. When you click on the link, a worm will be downloaded to your machine and will steal your Ebay username & password info, which will instantly automatically log onto your Ebay account and change your password, locking you out of your own account. The scammers now have control of your account, and due to Ebay's crappy customer service, it is very difficult to get it fixed in a timely manner.

There are a lot of Ebay scams out there now, so you must be on your guard at all times. If you get an email from Ebay, do not *ever* give out any personal information. If you get customer emails about stuff you are selling when you have nothing for sale, *DO NOT* click on any links in those emails. If you get any suspicious emails of any kind, *DO NOT* give out any sensitive info, click on any links or open any attachments.

I get a phishing scam purporting to be from eBay or PayPal on a nearly daily basis.

Of course, I get 500 spams a day too, and most people don't get *that* much.
