I believe you have my information. What does an EAS test look like? Do I get a phone call, or what? Thank you.

I doubt this has changed.
In the past, you recieved a text message on up to 3 cell phone numbers.
You also received the same message via email for up to 3 email addresses.

I got an email about the soft wear changeover a week or so ago. I guess everyone else did too. That was sort of a test of the system.

Unless things have changed, signing up for the EAS is completely separate from joining TB2K.

It's a completely different piece of custom software written just to send the alerts. I don't think some here understand that.

You had to sign up separately, only via PM, with one of the Mods (now Green Co).

As Dennis said, we are having some problems with our two systems working together. Our server Admin was on it for over 9 hours today... so far. Some members I was able to update, many not. Bear with me, when I do get you confirmed, you'll be notified. I appreciate your patience.

ETA: I do keep all requests until fulfilled. If you sent a request, I still have it, & will until complete.

Question. I may be confused but are all the requests we're supposed to have given, just for the new-comers or does that include everybody since we moved here?

I'm assuming my information transferred over and I don't need to update because nothing changed since then.

If your info hasn't changed, it is still the same on the server. Remember, The EAS system is completely different from TB2K. Most all of the requests I've had from long time members to "check" their information, required no changes.

If you haven't moved, changed emails or cell phone numbers in the last year or however long you can remember, it will still be the same on the EAS

Like me.. nothings changed in 20+ years...... except I now have GREAT grand kids.

Whatever came of the proposed EAS test? I understand it glitched and was being worked on, but wonder if I missed the latest update on the situation. (LOVE the new search, btw... was finally able to find this thread again - can search for three letter terms!)
