…… Dutchsinse

Ok. I have several friends who are sending video clips of Dutchsinse talking about the radiation, HAARP... and things of that nature. Although I try to be prepared and not scared, this guy is scaring me. I've gotten to the point that I won't even open the links to it anymore.

My question is: am I just being an ostrich with her head buried in the sand, or is this guy for real? I would welcome any advice/opinion. And thanks!

You'll get lots of advice on this one. With or without proof. Your best bet is to do what you're already doing and that's not to open the links if they scare you.

Dutch has been pretty accurate, so his information does bear looking into, or at least that's how I see it, and I am not really affected by the doom of it all, is good to have a glimpse of it now and then as a reminder that all is not exactally going to be good. If it bothers you, there is no reason for you not to watch it, people discuss his stuff, and you can glean what you are comfortable with from threads (or not). All about YOUR choices, and your choices are valid for you.

He was dead wrong in his "predictions" for Kentucky, etc getting clobbered by HAARP caused "severe weather" in around 5-7.

I have a friend who is completely in awe of this guy, because he is telling her exactly what she believes.

She is not happy with me after I pointed out the Quake/Severe weather he predicted for our area, based on a HAARP ring, was bogus based on inaccurate info. She was not happy, but she accepted my explaination because it made sense. Of course nothing happened.

Now we have these graphic animations (which are labeled as simulations) that Dutch is representing as radiation patterns and concentrations traveling across the globe. There is no evidence that these animations are factual based on real (radiation) data.

We know the government lies to us and because of that we take everything they say with a grain of salt.

I would suggest that we do the same with others as well.

That is good advice. I actually have not been reading his stuff (or watching the videos). Maybe I'll take a look to see what all the hoopla is about.

My theory is this.....time and time again I have watched the end of the world problems arise full force. And time and time again Something steps in to help repair the damages we humans have a talent for making.

So I am really curious to see where this is all going this time as well.

All I know is that everytime I watch the local weather from STL, and there is a ground clutter ring from the radar, the meteorologists are adamant at pointing out that it's only that, ground clutter. I found it amusing because dutchsinse is from STL and I suspect they have heard of his predictions, so they keep stressing what the rings are. At least that's mho.

You must already be having doubts regarding Dutchsinse or you would not have asked the question. You have demonstrated good sense and discernment on your other posts, so you are not just being an ostrich with her head buried in the sand. Just follow your instincts and discernment, and research the outcomes of his previous theories. You will do fine.

I guess I should have clarified my question. What is the general consensus about this guy? Of course I would make my own decisions about it, but I was just wondering what other preppers think about him. Two of my friends, hang on his every word as gospel. Í'm more of a glass half full kinda gal and inclined to take him with a grain of salt, along with Helen Caldicott. What made me stop and wonder is that my email and facebook is literally being slammed with links to his stuff.. and I thought, "Geez, am I missing something here?"

I would rather be prepared than scared.

Sorry - but you won't find a consensus. Some here think he hung the moon. I think he's an attention whore who takes facts and his imagination and twists up theories to make the doomer elite watch his videos.

Oh, misunderstood the question, Karnie's answer is good:

but mine would be a little stronger:

I think the guy is at best a media whore looking for his 15 minutes of fame, at worse a complete fruitcake who gets his jollies trying to panic people with disinformation.

That whole HAARP "radar ring" thing is so lame I can't believe people still try to foist it upon others.

It's good to keep an open mind but stay away from known "panic pimps".

But, Kent, your first answer was SO polite and SO well done.

Having spent more than a couple hours behind the analyst that sits at the WZ88 concole (the "Doppler Radar" console) during SKYWARN events, even when our LOCAL area is OK (we cover 40+ counties in Ohio/PA/WV) I KNOW what ground clutter looks like, know what CAUSES it to return like it does, and can't figure out why someone doesn't actually LEARN about what he V-log's about.
Except that KNOWING tends to ruin your ability to FUD-monger convincingly.
