Need some beta testers to make sure the download works the way it is supposed to.

It should be there in the Resource list.

Click on the Got to download button at upper right. That should take you to the drop box download location.

You can either read it as a pdf at that site or you can download it. I'm not sure if it works this way yet. I may have to give everyone access a person at a time. Ugh. Once I get some comments on how well it works we'll go from there.

Let me know how the download looks and if the format works. Some will probably wind up being more detailed between footnotes, endnotes, index, and graphics/pics but for now I just want to make sure the cover page, table of contents, page numbers, etc. are converting from .doc to .pdf correctly.

Thanks.

Looks wonderful. Had problems downloading on the phone but I think that's a Dropbox and me issue, not anything that you can fix. Formatting looks good. Links to chapters work.

Now I'm going to go read it again.

I'll wait for a few others to chime in but it would appear we have a go. I'm working on the The Linder Legacy next. Not much clean up needed. Just making sure the formatting will stick properly. I'm also changing the font on that one to make it more legible than it was except in an over large font size.

Tonight or tomorrow I will try and get back to Edie. Just very sore and tired right now. Praying dropping the glyburide gets rid of the back, bone, and joint pain but not so far. Next comes dropping the Levemir and picking back up the glyburide or adding more units to the Levemir first. My glucose is starting to go back up. Type 2 Diabetes sucks Bigfoot's left buttock.

Sounds like a winner either way.

I've been having random joint pain for the last few days. It's driving me nuts. Interestingly enough, I got Voltaren to help with the sprained thumb/wrist issue because whatever was going on there was causing that whole hand, and the nerve up the arm to the neck, to start to have their own party as well. It seems to help somewhat for most of the areas and I'm only using it once a day. You might look into that and see if it will work for you.

I cant figure out how to download them. :(

If it is "Fel" how's this:

Click on: https://www.timebomb2000.com/xf/index.php?resources/

Find "Fel" in the list of resources and click on it.

Once you are on that page in the upper right is an orange-ish link that says "Go to download" and you click on that.

That takes you to a Drop Box page.

On the Drop Box page on the upper right is a gray-ish button that says "download". You can click on that on "right click" on download and tell it where you want to save it. Most commonly your computer will automatically put it in your Download folder or you can tell it to put it some other location on your computer.

Depends on your connection how long it will take. Then you find the file on your computer. It is in .pdf format. Click on that and you should be able to open it.

I have some so I'll give it a chance. I'm using 4% lidocaine and it numbs the skin but I can still feel the pain deep under the numbness. Funny enough it is only happening at night which is beginning to make me suspcect that it wasn't the glyburide which I take in the morning, but the Levemir which I take at night. My PCP group is extremely responsive and says we will get to the bottom of it. I'll give them a chance but if it gets to the point they don't want to hear me I may take in things into my own hands and simply reverse things and drop the Levemir and take the glyburide and see if that works.

Works great Ma'am.

I've followed you around the various site for so long now, I've ammassed quite a lot of your work so, I'm ahead of many of your readers there.

First, it was for the quality snd content snd then, for the recipes of which there are hundreds.

I should catalogue / organise those one day.

Thank you Ma'am.

Okay, I updated the alphabetical list of my stories here at TB2K.

Also, the following stories have been added to the downloadable resource area:

Quinn

Ava

Cedar Lake

Connecticut Yankee
Thank you Kathy.
Downloaded Ava, added another fine story to my ''Kathy In Florida'' collection.
Side-note here for fellow readers, I noticed that ''Ava'' was posted on 10.31.2023 for public download.
As of this morning 7AM, there are 2 reviews out of 17 downloads.
Call it 10%, rounding up for %.
As a group of readers, ''We'' can do our part for ''our'' Author.
Whaddya think?

@Cedar Lake asked me about the process of how I create the "books" out of the stories so that they have cover pages, table of contents, etc. My semi-simple answer is that I use MSWord.

You open a blank document: File >> New >> Blank Document

1698843529596.png

Add Cover Page: Open blank document then go to Insert >> Cover Page (Using the drop-down menu there are several preformatted options. You can create your own but I generally use the preformatted ones and then change them up like using my own picture, change the colors, etc.)

1698843582781.png

Add Table of Contents: Go to your next page. I generally do this by forcing a page break (Ctrl + Enter). At the top of that page ... References >> Table of Contents (Then use the drop-down menu to pick your style of TOC.)

1698843623822.png

How you get the TOC to update so you don't have to do it manually is that you make sure you format your chapter numbers as a Heading and you do that under Home and you see Styles to the right. Just highlight your "Chapter #" with your mouse and then hit Heading 1 or which ever style you want. To update your TOC, just use the update feature on the TOC or on the bar under references where you picked your TOC style.

Page number is something else you can add and there are a bunch of different styles of those as well. That's Insert >> Page Numbers. Use your dropdown menu and pick your style and location. The TOC works without the page numbers being inserted visually but it looks better in the final product.

The pictures, footnotes, endnotes, etc. is just a matter of formatting. I'd need to have a specific thing you want to do to explain it otherwise we'll end up with a MSWord booklet right here. LOL.

Anyway, that's the long and short of it. Hope this answers your question(s).

Oh, and how I take it from the MSWord document to a .pdf is easy peezy as well. When you go to print something, instead of printing it to a specific printer, there is an option in the drop down menu to print it to:
