This was added to a youtube channel I monitor sometime today. I just watched it. It's a decent, made for TV, movie about the H5N1 (Bird Flu) virus and how an outbreak might look in the US. It seems realistic enough. If the thought of the Wuhan Flu has you really depressed or anxious, you probably should consider not watching this movie.

I'm posting this now because I don't know how long youtube will leave it up. It has 342 views so far. It's at the same channel hosting The Stand and I thought that would be removed months ago, but it's still up so who knows? It downloaded fine with the free youtube downloader I use (Youtube Downloader HD - Free Youtube Video Downloader). The video quality is good.

Last weekend, I watched Contagion (personal copy) followed by Outbreak (personal copy) then went to sleep.
I should have watched Andromeda Strain (personal copy) and made it a late night triple feature. :)

I saved a copy of this movie and will add it to my doomer movie collection. I don't recall having seen it before.

Good Lord, Man!!!

I would have been clawing my eyeballs out!

Maybe, just because war and nuclear holocaust don't bother me that much?

My Top 3 ways I do NOT want to die...

1. Airplane crash... Falling for over one minute. Sheer terror for that time.

2. Burning up in a car crash. Not much different than burning at the stake...

3. Dying by some freaking bioweapon... How do you fight back against something that can kill you ( by drowning you in your own mucus ) when you cannot even see it???

One the best uses of Don't Fear the Reaper in a movie. Also a good song on its' own.

I read the book years ago and have seen the mini-series a few times. I enjoyed both.

I watched it. Not very upbeat.

Hence the warning to some about watching it. It did get into JIT supply failure, major transport failure, not enough med help or supplies, not enough food, who gets help when there isn't enough for all, some falling to the occasion, some rising to the occasion, etc. It's a real doomer movie.

Thanks dude,
I went to watch Contagion last night as I had it saved in my Netflix list and they've taken it off, YouTube only has a bad copy. Don't fancy trawling any free movie websites , trying to avoid any infections right now
