But, . . . what about the setter? It's Irish, too!Dennis had stolen my answer, frigging smart ass. Irish guys always have the longest tail, where do you think the Sheliauge stick came from, that’s why are Kilts are cut a little deeper. And also why Erin left her braugh….
because at one time I wanted an Irish setter.
It seems like they've ruined many a breed. I wouldn't have a pure bred now for nothing. I've had some beautiful dogs of questionable lineage - all good dogs. You thought you did. They were one of the earlier breeds the AKC totally ruined as working dogs. Unless you could find a line that had been maintained for decades as field/hunting dogs, stay away stay away.
Just your average Irish pub running dog the Setter is, the Wolfhound on the other hand, let’s just say he uses that tail to clear out the pub, toss back a few to many glasses… and pick up a few of the finest Colleen’s there when it is said and done…But, . . . what about the setter? It's Irish, too!
No pun intended of course…..B. WAG.

They look like huge mops though. I can’t even tell the dog’s shape under all that.
