OT/MISC Did God have someone steal the 80 yr old man's bicycle?

Sometimes God intervenes in our life and it appears to be a bad thing happening,
but wait, there may be more to the story.

In this case, the man wearing the "Jesus Saves" T shirt had his bicycle stolen while he was at the bank.

Believing he's in great health for a 80 year old, he chases and jumps on the back of the pickup truck, holds on for a distance and finally lets go. Tumbling over and over a few times he gets some bruises and scrapes.

He goes to emergency and finds he was not badly hurt, but during the exam the
doctor finds he has a heart blockage. Had his bicycle not been stolen he could have
had a heart attack and died.

The employees of the bank, after witnessing the theft, buy him a new bike.

Isn't God awesome?

Four y/o had one bruise that looked like a big lipstick kiss. discovered Mommy had golf ball sized tumor in voice box that would have strangled me to death before being revealed during chiropractic follow up that week. No. God did not have someone steal a bike. Stealing is a sin. God doesn't cause people to sin, Satan does. However, the Bible says that what the Devil intends for harm, God uses for good. In other words, Satan gives you lemons and God makes it into lemonade.

But if you remember your Job, you know that Satan couldn't have done all that to him without God's direct consent.

I personally have been a freelance writer for the last decade, and have lost several clients, clients I would have much rather kept. Yet for every one I lost, a better one seemed to be right down the road within a few months of the last one. I count that all directly to God.

Yes He did. 21 years ago I had a truck wreck and had headaches from it and when they did a cat scan they found a brain tumor, Yes things happen for a reason.
