Repub Des Moines Register On-Line Poll Omits Frontrunner Donald Trump as Vote Option…

The relationship between the Trump campaign and the Des Moines Register (DMR) is well documented. Throughout the GOP primary the DMR has been antagonistic to the Trump Campaign, and DMR reporters have even been identified data-mining Trump donors and sending out messages ridiculing them.

The DMR editorial board has endorsed Marco Rubio and Hillary Clinton and positioned their advocacy in opposition to all other candidates. So it might not come as a surprise to find out the Des Moines Register had a sponsored poll presented on their website for visitors that removes the option to vote for Donald Trump. See Screenshot: (no option at all for Trump)

Today the Des Moines Register is set to release a final Iowa poll, the “first-in-the-nation” poll which they sponsor through Selzer & Co. Inc., a firm who has conducted The Des Moines Register’s Iowa Poll since 1997.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if the sponsored poll removing Donald Trump as an option was identified as the data collection for their “first-in-the-nation” polling and publication?

My newspaper also omitted Trump's name except it gave the choice of "Other". I canceled my subscription.

Neither here nor there.
This did not go unnoticed locally, it made the news, people are pissed. Caucus night should be interesting. The Des Moines register is supporting the future lame duck Ted Cruz.

I have a feeling that Trump has many more (and better) spies where they are needed most. Trump doesn't like to lose ... especially to dirty tricks. Kinds hope the dems try some voter fraud so Donald can take them to the woodshed. I predict Trump will CRUSH in the primaries.

I predict the Des Moines Register will stay in business maybe 1-2 years at most before it gasps its last breath.

Is if anyone should care about the endorsement of a liberal rag for the Republican nomination. But yeah, this certainly shows a hint of desperation doesn't it?
