Misc Dehydrated shredded vegetable mix

2 parts thawed frozen hash browns, 1 part thawed frozen french cut beans, 1 part thawed frozen carrots (shred in food processor) and 1 parts thawed frozen brussel sprouts (shred in food processor). Mix all together and dehydrate until very crisp. Because of the small size they re hydrate quickly in hot water, they can also be powdered in a grain mill for easier use or compactablity. 1 to 1/2 tablespoons is equal to 1 daily serving of vegetables. The reasoning behind using the frozen vegetables is so that no extra processing need be done.

I had thought about dehydrating mixed vegetables but thought they would dry at different times and be a pain. I’ve been drying individually and can combine as needed before I use it.

I like your idea of shredding in the food processor to make the same size and to make it dehydrate faster. Thanks for the idea!

I just started drying frozen mixed vegetables and they are great. I told a friend about it and now there isn't any at the local Grocery Outlet; I think he's buying it all. LOL I pour the bag onto one of my drying shelves; turn heat to 125 degrees and leave it on overnight. You want it to dry for 14 hours. I know that is a long time; but I put the frozen mixed veggies in the dryer after dinner, and its ready by the next morning. I always make sure I have other things to dry on the other shelves as well.
