darn coons

Millwright, that cam shot looks like my strawberry patch a couple of years ago. I've had them take the cages off too. Have to weight them down or tie them to something.

I have outside cats so I'd be worried about them.
I've caught one of them several times in my live trap

That’s the beauty of the cap. Cats are unable to pull the cap out of the tube.

Got my first one in the dog proof trap.
First night out, too.


Sardines and cat food.
It's a younger coon and really want to catch the big one.

Haven't caught any in the live trap in a couple weeks

Well.
That was interesting.

Last night the trap was pulled out of the ground (wasn't in real firm).
Bait was stolen without tripping the trap.

And, the weird thing.
My cat food bowl is nowhere to be found.

As far as the stolen bait, I baited after setting the trap so they could just scoop it out.

Lesson learned.
Guessing he'll come back tonight for another free meal.
