This is pretty interesting. Too bad civil defense is no longer a priority. Maybe if it were, some of today's attitudes would be different. Thank you for posting the link.

Just a suggestion but you might want to look for materials by Cresson Kearny, the genius godfather of civil defense, how-to (expedient) bomb shelters and much more. Incredible detail and intelligence.

Dr Bruce Clayton published a lot of the Kearny files and charts in his books as well.
