Anyone playing the latest Call of Duty game Black Ops?

Picked up the game yesterday and so far it's been interesting...

Started out in the Bay of Pigs, Cuba looking for Castro to take him out so the US can invade, but we all know how this operation turns out.

I picked off Castro's look a like double after breaking down the door to his bedroom with a pistol shot to the for head.

Everything does down hill after that kill shot.

Fun game so far, I give it 2 thumbs up!

I've found the Halo type games to be more fun than the COD varients where ya get killed with one shot with consistancy....

I was actually fortunate enough to obtain a copy of it over here. Bought it, took it home, installed it (If you use PS3 hack, your forced to upgrade to 3.51), then a coworker sits down to play it, he hasn't moved in the last 6 hours. It really looks good, even has a decent story line. I just wish I could play it online...

COD Black Op's

After being captured by the Cubans and Russians after the failed Bay of Pigs attack Castro ordered me to spend the rest of my life in a Soviet prison...

With the help of several political prisoners we were able to escape the prison and then the country and I made it back to the States.

After recovering I met at the Pentagon with Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara and then President JFK.

I was asked by JFK to take out Soviet and former German rocket scientists to slow their space program to give the US an edge in the space race...

Naturally I accepted the mission and ended up taking out a Soviet ICBM with a hand held launcher along with a bunch of scientists and military personnel along the way, it’s a hoot!

I will let you know how long it takes the wife to start complaining about spending to much time playing the game.

I got it for PS3 and haven't started the single player campaign yet. I went straight to online multiplayer.

Got it on PC.

I'm about half-way through the single player. It's ok, nothing spectacular. At least it's better than that Medal of Honor that was just released. I'm sure I'll finish it and never play it again. I don't do multiplayer. I had my fill of that back in the counter-strike days.

It's fun but can't hold a candle to Fallout: New Vegas!

Got it a couple of days ago! Only played for an hour or so. I have a few days off coming up and am looking forward to playing it some more. I really like it so far!

Finished the game last weekend and the ending is interesting.

Started killing Zombies which is ok and it gets tough as the game moves forward, still fun but it freaked out my wife?

I have started over Sunday evening after football playing the hardest level and let me tell you its tough.

I think I am going to play online when I get some time this Thanksgiving weekend, thats if were all still alive!

I don't do multiplayer.

WOW I own many FPS games and never played out the single player! I jump right into multiplayer with 30 other people and rock on. It is like a chess game since you are up against real people.

Of course I play PC versions of everything and I don't have a clue as to how many people the console versions let play at once.

The real fun is in the MP version as some folks are so predictable they come right back to the same spot to get shot again. Other people are pretty sharp and will outflank you pretty fast. The real people playing are what does it for me.

I play with a group of people so its all about teamwork. The loner gets whacked pretty fast. We play the capture the flag version of gameplay and it does take a team to get the flag back for the point.

I had to ground my 14 year old from playing zombies. She plays on-line and is good but it makes her crazy! Like a zombie on speed.

Somewhat disappointed that they don't do demos anymore. For this one or MW2. Some of us need to see how the game runs on our system. CoD4 MW had a demo, enough to say I didn't buy the game until I upgraded my system. Yea Im a eye candy nut, whats the point of playing with out the awesome graphics etc.

I'd DL a cracked version just to see how it runs on my system, but even for just that purpose, they are usually more hassle than its worth.

So CoD4 has kept me fragging for the last 6 months happily. Quality graphics, fast play. Plus the fact that Im a cheap bastard, and refuse to be an early adopter at $59. $19 is more my style.

Hey there. I am a PC only guy myself. Do you play BF2 and/or BF2BC? If so do you have a fav server? Or are you in a clan? I like to play in a team more than just evryone for themselves. And i do have a mic. And set up for vent.
