CNN political analyst April Ryan declared she “cannot wait” to see President Trump forcefully removed from the White House by police and armed forces if he loses his bid for reelection.

Ryan evoked a common liberal talking point Saturday by predicting that Trump would refuse to leave office if he loses the election.

“There’s going to be a split-screen on Jan. 20, 2021. If Joe Biden is now going to be the 46th president of the United States, you will have him being inaugurated and watching police and armed forces trying to pull Donald Trump out of the White House. I cannot wait for that split-screen,” Ryan said.

Hillary Clinton, Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., and Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C., have also recently expressed concern that Trump will refuse to leave the White House if he loses the election, with many prominent liberals claiming Trump’s rhetoric dismissing mail-in ballots is the foundation for the theory.

Press secretary Kayleigh McEnany told "Outnumbered Overtime" last month she found it "comical" that top Democrats have suggested the president may not leave office if he loses his bid for reelection in November.

"It's quite comical to watch the Democrat Party talk about not accepting the results of the election," McEnany said, "because the only people who haven't accepted the results of elections are people in the Democrat Party, like Hillary Clinton, who's blamed her loss on, I think it was something like two dozen different entities, never blaming herself."

Fox News host Harris Faulkner pointed out that Trump had told her in a recent interview that he would leave office in January 2021 if the election doesn't go his way, saying, "certainly if I don't win, I don't win."

The theory is nothing new, as many members of the mainstream media made similar predictions in 2019 when the Mueller probe didn’t force Trump out of office.

MSNBC’s Joy Reid speculated last year that Trump “doesn’t have any intention of committing to a peaceful transition of power,” while CNN’s editor-at-large Chris Cillizza was once ridiculed for tweeting a link to a fictional column he wrote about what would happen if Trump “refuses to admit” he loses in 2020.

The amazing thing is that any SANE party would be sure to NOT put impediments in the way of an opposition who MIGHT decide to not vacate.

As in - make your election that supports you "squeeky clean" and above reproach.

The ultimate assurance that Trump will leave on schedule should it be necessary is "consent of the governed." No legitimate president (or any other government leader) would EVER do anything to jeopardize that.

But perhaps we're not talking sane here? And if you intend to have a battle and think you can win over a plurality of voters...

Sometimes I wonder if President Trump considers hanging up his political career? He'd be able to go back to: running multimillion dollar corporations, living at mansions and luxury resorts, married to a supermodel who obviously loves him and raising their son. Best of all wouldn't have to deal with the nonsense he's had to face since becoming President.

The bad part would be how soon after the election the politicians would be back at his office with their hands out. I wonder if he and his family are saving millions due to the restrictions of the Hatch Act?

Hard to think like this, knowing the facts. The stuff you call nonsense is nothing short of the glue holding this country together, it's that important. He's too much a man of character to walk from this fight, given its gravity.....(I hope)

The bad part is death and destruction, slavery, the end of America.
