China a 'fertile breeding ground' for a potentially dangerous Covid mutation: Experts

China's rising number of COVID-19 cases has sparked the worry that the surge might unleash a new mutant variant of the deadly virus into the world.

As per Dr Stuart Campbell Ray, an infectious disease expert at Johns Hopkins University, China's large population has limited immunity, which "seems to be the setting in which we may see an explosion of a new variant."
Experts warn that every new Covid infection offers the virus a chance to mutate, and given the way it is circulating in China, variables like the recently discontinued zero-Covid rules, high population, high overall vaccination but low booster rates and the unavailability of the more effective foreign mRNA vaccines could contribute to a highly fertile breeding ground for a coronavirus mutation

"When we've seen big waves of infection, it's often followed by new variants being generated," said Ray comparing the coronavirus to a boxer that "learns to evade the skills that you have and adapt to get around those."
The current surge in China is believed to be driven by the BF.7 subvariant, with many other Omicron variants believed to be circulating among the population.
Dr Shan-Lu Liu, who studies viruses at Ohio State University as per an AP report said that BF.7 is very adept at evading immunity.

Experts warn that partially vaccinated populations like the one in China "put pressure" on the virus to mutate and it is impossible to predict if the new mutation will cause more severe disease. Apparently, there is no inherent reason for the coronavirus to become milder over time.
"Much of the mildness we've experienced over the past six to 12 months in many parts of the world has been due to accumulated immunity either through vaccination or infection, not because the virus has changed" in severity, says Ray.

The World Health Organization has also expressed concern as cities run out of intensive care beds and a staff shortage is witnessed amid reports of severe disease in China.
"We don't know all of what's going on", currently little is known about the genetic viral sequencing coming out of China says Jeremy Luban, a virologist at the University of Massachusetts Medical School warning, "the pandemic is not over."

Nature doesn't care what the scientists think. It's gonna do its thing and we just have to hold onto our seats as best we can. We can be at the top of the roller coaster, or we may be on the downslope. Time will tell.

Pride comes before the fall.....Pride month ended.
Johns Hopkins sold us out a long time ago.... somehow, I totally believe if we see a new variant, it's the latest from the lab. Who's lab, likely..... they told us exactly what they are attempting to do. Wonder if any white hats have a counter plan in progress. Times running out, as I see it.

It's good I'm not in charge. I'd just give them a "Pearl Harbor" sneak attack with a full boomer release followed by a few large silo launches followed by B-52 dump truck drop of high yield nukes and be done with their bullsh*t. I've really had it with them. They aren't ready for prime time. My personal feeling is, "destroy the barbarians." If we play it right, we should be able to kill a billion plus of the soulless bastards.

From my friend, “We all got infected and recovered. Covid is hitting the whole country. People have to stay at home to get well from the high fever, and they should stay at home for about 7 days. Now people have to go to company in turn. But it’s too fast, only a few people can work.[Facepalm]”

Right from the start
I thought that in virology, as a virus mutates, it becomes weaker. So, keep your immune system strong!

i am not so sure that is a hard and fast rule. certainly it seems that in a population of 1.2 billion, there just might be a small possibility for a variant with very high lethality to emerge...

of course, if it did, we wouldn't know until it had already spread around the world, since only '6' people have died so far in this outbreak ...

Well, OF COURSE it is . . . .

If you don't have a crisis, create one no matter the associated costs in lives or capital . . . .

Someday........ somewhere....... someone is going to create an airborne transmittable virus with an Ebola like result and its lights out for civilization and/or maybe humanity.........

.........there are 10,000 biolabs worldwide and it wouldn't take much in cost and human capital to create that.

I dearly love the process of the scientific method and the discovery of that process............but I'm afraid in the end that process will lead to our demise as a species........

I had a friend who was an actual microbiologist and one night in one of our lengthy chats we got into the discussion of the most advanced form of life the universe could allow.............and he stated if you are talking about surviving as being "advanced" then the virus has no equal unless it runs out of hosts cells to replicate in.

and with that observation you might not be surprised why I'm not invited to many social hours or parties..............LOL

Talk is cheap
The Great Reset comith. No more freedom. Oppressed slaves forevermore.

They can try, and I think it will be epic fail for them, until they decide push comes to shove and the other shoe drops...as in, martial law and massive amounts of culling. Because either way, that is what is coming. People need to continue to stand up for freedom and all that is right.

The pushback will be massive. People are sick and tired of it!

When you think about it the only people who benefit from a great reset are so few and without any military would be powerless to enforce it...............eventually oppressions to the masses will impact the great majority in the military as well..............and there may come a time when all the masses and the vast majority of the military will rise up against the powerful few...............storm their homes and drag them out into the streets and hang them.

Question is.......what will end up taking over power in such social vacuum?

For a time, the maxim known as “The State of Nature”, will take over.

In it, there are no police, no procedure, no courts, no top-heavy bureaucracies, prisons or sitting legislatures, all of whose sole purpose is to protect the two criminal classes, i.e., the street thug, and the politician.

Let’s hope that state lingers…….

An earthquake under the right one to crack it open, and a bit of wind to spread it, and misery of a Biblical scale could be upon us.

I suspect the second wave of a bio logical weapon has been released, and will continue to be released, till their objectives are met. They already know it attacks kids (How convenient, is it true?). So much knowledge and it's not but supposedly shown it's face in China, now being spread everywhere as the airlines were opened up in the last days. It appears they released this on their own people, like last time, and then put them on airplanes going everywhere. Rinse and Repeat.

Is it true, or will it be the excuse for all the vac deaths that are coming? WHO knows what to think, eh. Ivermectin should work fine on it, why not make that the first plan of attack rather than a fake vaccine that changes every cell in your body.

Neither here nor there.
Just saw on one of the Int'l news channels that India and South Africa are on the verge of lock downs because of covid. If you need it get it in house cause it's about to get fugly again.
