After opening for only one day, a Six Flags amusement park near Atlanta, Georgia was overrun by a mob of up to 600 rioters who proceeded to fight each other and destroy property. The incident led to a shootout involving the Cobb County Police Department and resulted in the hospitalization of an alleged assailant.

"As officers followed the crowd out, ensuring they left the property, an unknown number of suspects fired at officers. An officer returned fire, striking one of the suspects," Cobb County Police Department said.

The establishment media has decided to focus primarily on the shooting of the unnamed 15-year-old involved in the police altercation, and many outlets have ignored the events leading up to the incident. The suspect, whose name was not released by police, was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital after receiving medical treatment at the scene. His condition is unknown at this time. The likelihood of the teen being a minority is high, and the media's focus may be in preparation for an attempt to provoke a BLM-like response in the near future.

While Democrat politicians continue to claim that crime in the US is going down, violent mob actions similar to what happened at the Georgia Six Flags have been rising steadily in the past few years. Why don't crime stats reflect this? Because progressive city governments rarely prosecute the people involved. Low prosecution numbers lead to low convictions and low reported crime rates.

Another factor to consider is a change in FBI crime reporting policies during the pandemic, which allows many cities across the US to avoid providing complete crime numbers until 2025.

Atlanta and surrounding areas have recently adopted "equity" policies in criminal prosecution, which generally means lesser charges and lighter sentences for minorities. The region is also known for shady political influences when it comes to criminal prosecution, as we have seen in the case of District Attorney Fani Willis.

In other words, the majority of these riots are dominated by a certain demographic, and this is largely due to the assumption that assailants will not be aggressively charged because of their skin color. When a specific group of people are assured of privileged treatment in criminal cases, they are incentivized to commit more crimes. It's not rocket science, it's common sense.

The refusal to pursue severe punishment for violent offenses and repeat criminals in the name of "racial equity" is swiftly destabilizing American cities. The widespread exodus of citizens from metropolitan areas in the past few years is a testament to growing public concerns over safety. Blue cities are becoming socialist cesspools devoid of rational leadership, and this is the real reason why we can't have nice things.

Huge swaths of Atlanta have become overrun with these people and the disgusting behavior they dole out every inch they travel and minute they exist.
The area of Six Flags has become one of the worst over the last five or so years.

...not the content of their Character

...and if blacks built this nation and made up the majority of the people and whites only a fraction, what color skin would appear to have privilege?

If whites only made up 13% of this nation and acted the way some blacks have been treating everybody for decades with no condemnation from within it's own culture to rebuke and stand against immoral degenerative evils. But actually celebrate and promote Chaos, Rage, and violent monstrous acts against the most innocent...whites would've been completely eradicate from the nation long ago.

Stay away from big blue cities...
Yep - moved 18 miles out 3 years ago. A friend of mine lives about 10 miles out. Always remind him to make sure he warns me when the "youths" are overrunning his area. I want some warning! :p

I really have a hard time believing Missouri has more deaths than Illinois. Chicago and East St.Louis alone should have more deaths.

But they have a strict no weapons policy. I was told that will protect us from gun violence. How could this happen?!?!?!

The dindunuffins strike again

Atlanta is turning into South Africa.

It's spreading everywhere

Off duty cops can’t even go armed in most large theme parks, we need that law that says if you deny people their right to defend themselves on your property then you automatically assume the responsibility to keep them safe, failure to do so means you’re liable for harm to everyone there.

Just brutal! Even if you were armed, you don't stand a chance against a mob of 600
Watch, figure out who the leaders are. Big mouths, shouting orders generally. Also WATCH and see who is guiding this from the sidelines.
Most generally leaders, advisors, or legal people.

When your local college is having some sort of demonstration,
Just go and WATCH.
The demonstrators, their leaders, their advisors,
Watch where and how they position themselves.
The "college's is where they recruit, and train, their local demonstration, are all usually pretty"quite "and maybe uneventful.
But, like I said. WATCH, see who is who. Take pictures, you know, "for posterity" , actually re-con.

I'm glad I had a chance to visit many of the parks before they became both expensive and dangerous.
Same with spring break in Florida. It was nothing like the videos when I was there.
There was drinking, but people didn't get so out of control, but that was back in the 1970s.

I don't want to be near any large groups, spring breakers or whatever.
What a disaster some segments of society have become!

I believe private property rights trump most other rights. Arguments can be made for places that aren't government owned or controlled, but receive government funding or tax incentives. However, we must remember that adults can make adult decisions. The adult decision when private property owners ban firearms isn't to go running to an ambulance chaser attorney if one is to get hurt, it is to not give them one dime of your money.

I've seen it on many forums, "concealed means concealed" when carrying where prohibited, in places that don't really search or anything. Could be grocery stores, or small scale municipal water parks, etc.. Well, if gun owners were instead to just turn their backs on these places, plan other outings, then if our numbers are strong enough, the economic hit should send a message. Instead, too many gun owners just "conceal really well" and continue to give money to entities that ban a reasonable means of self-defense on their property.

Sigh.

It was SUCH a nice place in the 60's / 70's when I was a little girl.

I remember even going to "Homeschool Day" at Six Flags and "Christian Day" at Six Flags---I'll never forget when NewSong performed live their "Arise My Love" and how we all in the HUGE crowd cheered when they crescendoed to the line, "Grave--where is your vic'try? Death--where is your sting? Hell hath been defeated--the grave cannot hold the King!"

Haven't been back in years, but hubby and son went a couple years ago when his then-workplace had a "Family Day" there.

They said half the rides were closed, most of our old favorites (like the Sky Bucket, Mo-Mo the Monster, and Hansom cars) were gone, and almost everyone there was black.
