If you haven't seen it, Wiseguy was a groundbreaking series...perfecting the story arc model. Gut wrenching stuff. The Sonny Steelgrave (Ray Sharkey) episodes...nothing like it ever done before or since IMHO.

Ken Wahl is ...incredible...too.

I am watching Wiseguy now. I'm up to episode 5 of the first season (i.e. in the middle of the Sonny Steelgrave episodes). It's good...

I finished the Sonny Steelgrave episodes last night on Wiseguy. Good stuff!

Ron Silver was on the show in the 2nd season. I accidentally watched an episode out of order.

TV was different back then.

Problem with the Glenn Frey arc is that a couple of episodes are just not available due to copyright issues with Debbie Harry. Kind of makes it hard on the continuity of the arc. I actually like the Mel Profitt arc, just because of Susan Profitt (Joan Severance) and Roger Lacoco (William Russ)

The complete series is at the link including all episodes (13-20) of season 2 AKA the Dead Dog Records story arc.

Yup. William Russ played a great part as Roger.

I bet there was no "Knights in White Satin" for the reveal episode between Vinnie and Sonny. I think it got pulled (again for copyright) in syndication. I never heard that song again without thinking of those scenes in Wiseguy.

I think some of these were recorded from TV. Kights in White Satin (Moody Blues song) was included and fit very well.
