…… Blender suggestions

We’ll my kitchen aide blender died this afternoon, need suggestions for a much better more robust blender that I can make pesto and hummus in, in addition to other things. The hummus was its last hooray.

I don't know about power, but I like Hamilton Beach because they are easy to clean, easy to find at Target, and not overly pricey if there's a sale. I mostly use it for smoothies, though. I'd probably make hummus in an actual food processor, not a blender.

(I have hummus about 1 - 2 times a year -- I buy it pre-made at Hyvee since I eat it so rarely.)

Kitchenaid food processor works great.

I didn't see it first hand but I was told that it adds some excitement to the shopping trip if you describe the capacity size of the processor you need as "cat sized".......

I have a smaller Kitchen Aid Food processor. That thing is awesome. It has two settings on, chop and puree. I use it to mostly chopped up the foods for The Hubs. It doesn't take up a bunch of counter space as it's only a 3.5 cup which I can get a lot in it. It's reasonably priced at $49 from Amazon. Easy to handle and clean up.

I have a food processor, two of them actually, a mini food processor and a regular sized one, they do not give me the creaminess I like for hummus or margaritas!

Those are good, but they're better for pitchers than for single drinks. Closest I've gotten to owning a slushy machine without having to straight-up buy a slushy machine.
