BLACK SWANS Collide, "We're In Dangerous Times" | Bob Moriarty
RT 34:21
Premiered Aug 13, 2022

War continues in Ukraine, Europe is on the verge of drought and famine, and the U.S. economy is on the edge. "There are so many black swans flying around right now that the danger is the black swans run into each other and make things worse," says Marine, Naval Aviator, and financial author Bob Moriarty. He explains the importance of having multiple plans for your finances, food, and water.

I get the feeling that at least some of these black swan collisions are because somebody has shot them out of cannons at each other.

It is called the three-ring clown circus effect.

Fake news.
A Black Swan - an unpredictable or unforeseen event, typically one with extreme consequences.

All these events . . . are fairly predictable and are being foreseen by a lot of people.
So, not a Black Swan.

If you deign to call this normal. The pace has been quickening dramatically. People always ask 'when' is IT going to happen. If they can't see IT happening right now they never will.
I completely disagree. Right now and likely even six months from now, I could get in my truck, drive the 2000 miles to your place, pick you up and we could go out on the town, drinking, eating, taking in a show, whatever. And then drop you off and drive home again. Yes all that might be more expensive but we could do all that because things are still normal. I would have no trouble finding enough fuel on the trip and motels are open all along the way. I would call that normal.
What things will be like in 3-months or 6-months or 10 years from now all of us can guess at.
Yes, things are happening now. Things are always happening every day that we are alive to see them. Are things bad right now? No.
Will things be worse in 2023? No one knows. I would guess that for me and my family things might be worse next year. For some people things might be better.

Normal is a condition that exists in the eye of the beholder. Whether one wears rose colored glasses or no glasses at all weighs heavily on one's perception of 'normal'. To all who think this shite is normal... good luck.
