FOOD Bhut Jolokia - Anyone here grow these?

TB Fanatic
I ordered some seeds from eBay. I've been growing them for about 4 months now and they look more like serano peppers to me than Bhut Jolokia.

Anyone have experience with this plant? I even tried one and it wasn't hot at all. I thought maybe there is a late growth spurt that gives the heat and color. Pics on the internet are of fatter bumpier red peppers. These have been dormant the last 3 weeks with practically no growth at all maybe because the temperature has been getting down to mid 50's.

I moved them into the green house but I'm starting to wonder if these are even Bhut's.

No biggie if they are not, I only paid $1.99 for the seeds but I've invested a lot of time trying to grow them if they are not.

Thanks in Advance for any replies.

That looks more like a Thai pepper that I have grown. The one that I have seen and used was a shorter fatter one with the stem attached more in line with a scotch bonnet. Not the eggplant looking stem connection.

Also they are really bright red when ripe.
