Barack Obama gives himself a B plus for his first year
Published: 7:00AM GMT 14 Dec 2009

US President Barack Obama has awarded himself a B plus for his first 11 months in office

"A good solid B plus," Mr Obama said during an hour-long, intimate soft-focus ABC network Christmas at the White House special, when Winfrey asked what grade he would give himself.

Explaining why he wouldn't give himself top marks, the president said his administration had "inherited the biggest set of challenges of any president since Franklin Delano Roosevelt" which they were still working on.

He had earned good points for helping to stabilize the economy, setting a path out of Iraq and restoring America's international image, but the job was not yet finished.

"B plus because of the things that are undone. Health care is not yet signed. If I get health care passed, we tip into A minus," Mr Obama said, his hair visibly grayer than when he took office on January 20.

He helped create the mess he supposedly inherited. He wanted the job. He has made it 100 times worse than it was on November 4, 2008.

Now, Barack, shut the hell up and do your job, you silly fool! And by the way, since you don't seem to know... you have but ONE job: to protect our borders from enemies. That's it, period. All this other crap you're blathering about is none of your business!

I give him a solid FFFFF!

I give him an A+ for his arrogance.

I give him a B+ for blaming Bush.

I give him a C+ for his cocky demeanor.

I give him a D+ for taking the Democrat party straight into the Marxist camp.

I give him a F for being a fool.

The American people deserve an F as well for putting the last nail in the coffin of the Republic.

Yep.

He just commented on his own character. The first rule of getting grades, as realized by any schoolchild not in a delusional self-centered world, is: YOU DON'T GET TO GRADE YOURSELF. The basic whole idea of grades is an evaluation by an impartial rater. So, I rate his character an "F", as he should have instantly deflected any such idiot question with a reference to the obvious problem with it.

Exactly! If there was a grade lower than F it would be quite appropriate for him!!!

Well, grade inflation is rampant. They say today's B+ is yesterday's C.

However, I'd be inclined to give him a C, which is yesterday's D-.

Before he ranks above or below a C, I'd need to see him do something significant that wasn't already in progress before he came along. So far, he has not accomplished much, which is generally just what I want from a president. The only problem is that, if he ever does accomplish something, I'm not going to like it.

So, Mr. Obama, as your academic adviser, I'm going to recommend that you don't spend any time doing the homework or coming to class. Don't bother me or waste the time of the rest of the class between now and finals and you can keep your C.

What do you expect from a guy that actually had the b@lls to accept a Nobel Peace prize for doing nothing more that having "good intentions"?

Yup - he doesn't even rate an 'F' - he's OFF the scale of inexperience, incompetence and irrelevance.

The dustbin of history awaits...[/QUOTE]

Are you referring to O being a one-term pres, or the Republic as a whole? :(

Have infinite hope (for the Republic) that real change will in fact happen - starting Nov. 2010 - and the powers of the Chicago mob currently ruling in DeeCee will be minimized.

As for Beloved Leader's chances in 2012 - frankly he may well become totally irrelevant - so who cares?

I saw it or parts of the Christmas White House. I remember when taking a walking tour through the White House to see the Christmas Decorations did not involve a security check or turning on the TV. Guess those days are gone. The decorations were lovely.

As far as President Obama's and the First Lady's interview with Oprha maybe I was just seeing things but did his lips look purple to anyone else? Maybe it was just the color on my set. Yes, I realize he is black but to me his lips looked purple, in my family having blue or purple tinted lips is taken as a sign of impending poor health. Probably an old wives tale from way back when.

Actually the B+ is accurate. Before you self detonate let me explain why.

Bamma wants completely change the American society into his particular liberal utopia. So far he's doing pretty good at killing off what's left of what was once great about the US. I predict that he won't give himself an A+ until all patriots, Christians, people who believe in the consitution and rule of law are all face down in roadside graves.

This is an example of why kids should not be handing themselves grades :lkick:

No, you didn't imagine it, and I mentioned this on another thread a few days ago. His lips looked cyanotic to me, too. :shr:
