Doooooooooom !
A guy on my buddies friends list posted the following and I just HAD to share it is soo COOL...

Here is the text attatched explaining the video...(note, you don't have to be logged in or have a facebook account to go to link and view short video)

He says:

"So I'm at Lowe's and I get in line behind a guy with 3 German Shepherds on leashes. When I get out to the parking lot, I notice the 3 sitting by the curb unleashed, and their owner quite a distance away loading his truck. (He is the guy bringing back the shopping cart). Back at the store exit, standing behind me, you will hear the owner commanding the dogs to get in the truck. Pretty cool!"

LOL - this made me think of my dog doing "down, stay" when she was a pup. She was in a down, stay at my feet and had been very good for a long time. I look up and there she is, crawling across the floor. Still maintaining the "down" but obviously the stay part was just too much. I can't remember what she was going after, probably a toy she'd seen, but it was priceless - the little sneak! Obviously, dogs are very smart and Walkintrot you're right - they ALL want a job! Well, maybe not Shih Tzu's who seem to believe themselves the kings of the planet. :)

Well, from my pov that is a super smart little dog you have there. Any animal that can reason out a method to obey and sort of disobey at the same time is a really sharp cookie.

That's nothing...I can tell my two 11 year old labs to sleep for 12 hours and damned if they won't do it.

Lucy, our first Jack Russell, would stay. But she determined how long she would stay. Sometimes as much a 3.5 seconds.
She did at least 10 kinds of tricks on command, but that stay business just didn't do well.

Emma will stay very nicely. Not as good as these dogs. I will have her come part way on the drive, tell her to stay and then I will walk to the street to get the mail. She will then wait until I walk back to her. I think that is really great.
I don't want her near the street.

When I was a kid I had a black lab that could fetch two things at once. I'd tell her to drop what she was holding and fetch the other, and she'd bring that until I told her to stop and drop it and bring the first one. Alternate all the way back. She knew so many commands I had to write them on 3x5 cards to keep them straight. Smartest dog I ever had.

Love it, my parents had a retriver/chow mix and a jack russel, oh and dont forget the pot bellied pig...my dad worked so much with them animals, he could have them spin in circles at the same time, and then they would play soccer. Soccer wasn't the best thing, seeing as tweeker <the retriever>, had lost all her front teeth due to running headfirst into a tree.
Love the comments on the site btw, "can i sen him my kids for a couple days" haha

Wow, that's smarter than my two pot head grandsons. A lot smarter.
