Had mid 80's back in beginning of April and have also had 2 frost warnings and a freeze warning since then, currently the extended forecast looks like mid 60-70's. I'd have to say running a bit cooler this year, which is just fine with me for doing outside "chores" and keeping the AC from kicking on, although the warmer weather would help heat up the pool.

Yeah, I like not having to turn on the air, but I would love to see warmer temps.

Warm here (N MN).
WAAAAY warm. We've already had a couple of 80 degree days.

The snow has been gone for months and no May blizzard in sight.
Super dry...today is another Red Flag/Critical fire danger day. I already had one brush-fire/wildfire spontaneously start on my place this spring (two VFD responding). That was back on Easter Sunday BTW.

We're also running about 10 degrees cooler than normal for this time of year. Only in the low to mid 70's for the rest of the week. Was 49 degrees last night.

Central Virginia. ..this week..90...82....60..
The weather is hot for a few days...then cold
We heat with wood and will have small fires again soon as the forecast is for colder ...temperatures coming...but no freeze.

Remember that during a solar minimum, the jet stream which normally flows west to east, is disturbed. It is transformed to a "looping" north to south flow. Some regions could experience abnormal heat or cold while adjacent areas are the exact opposite.

Merdional flow.

Also these "loops" in the jet stream can cause either torrential rain or daugths.

Cooler than normal in SW lower MI. Fairly substantially, too. Normal high this time of year is like 66. We'll be lucky to see 64 by the end of the week. Mostly mid-50s this week.

We are running two weeks behind as far as degree days and what's blooming. It could be a cool summer, but it doesn't take many warm days for the plants to catch up.

Yeah it sucks. Its May and its 48 degrees right now.

The 5 day outlook sucks too:

If the 14-day outlook is to be believed...we wont get highs in the 70's till 5/14. The overnight low for 5/11 is slated for 39 degrees. UGH.

Upper 40's this morning and low 70's by this afternoon. Pretty common spring weather for southern VA. Heat in the morning and AC in the afternoon. lol

This too shall pass.
I'm not sure that this being our fourth spring here is long enough in one place to know for sure what is normal and what isn't, but based on the previous three springs, this one seems a lot cooler. The forecast is for highs mostly in the sixties (with a dip or two into the fifties) for at least another week; for south-central KY, that's cooler than normal, I think. Seems like in previous springs it would have been in the seventies and eighties by now, and well into the nineties by the end of the month; yes, we've had a few warm days, including one that got over eighty, but it's fluctuating.

its a little cooler than normal here in Nebraska, but still within the 50 year average, some years warmer, some years colder. just change of the seasons,

We've had a few warm and a few hot days here in West Virginia (70s and 80s) and we had 43F this morning for an over night low. Right now we're at 63F.

I'd say cooler than normal. We haven't really had any "heat" which is unusual for Texas.

Myrtle Beach weather has been strange. Storms have come in from the west and turned north in the middle of the state, leaving us very dry. Wind has been from the south and east. Then we had severe storms with tornadoes forecast and had hail. A friend 20 miles north of us had car damage from hail the size of a quarter, We just had some light flakes. Temps have been all over, right now it is nice and springlike 75*

We live on the coast of Mississippi and all it has done for the last two weeks is rain. I've measured 25 inches total so far. Its crazy. The daytime highs have been around 80 and lows in the 60's, but tonight we are suppose to be down in the upper 40's. Way below normal.

well I'm not sure just what normal would be. Some years its in the 90's in April and some years its not. I always said if it gets to 90 in April we are in for hell in the summer. This year we had mid 80's in April a few times, but not all the time. Its supposed to get up to 81 today, not bad for this time in May.

God is good all the time

We had a warm spell and now we are back to the 40’s at night, 50’s during the day in southern NH. Hoping we don’t get instant summer like last year, but some warmer weather would be great.

Snow on the mountains yesterday, there's a video from last week floating around of a couple of loggers in the Wicklow mountains caught in a blizzard,

Surprise blanket of snow covers loggers in Wicklow as Met Eireann forecast awful weekend

Met Eireann have forecasted a bad May for cold, very unusual for Ireland to have snow and cold in May.

Met Eireann's freezing Ireland forecast as temperatures plummet in wintry blast

The only heat there is in the sun, any bit of cloud or shadow and its very cold

North Texas. Forecast for next two weeks. Daily highs upper 70s lows upper 50s. Yes that seems cool for 2021. The kind of May weather we saw in the 1950s and 1960s. Love it.

Frost last night in Kodiak, might have a high of 50 if we are lucky today. This is the latest spring in my garden records, even later than 2017. Hope to plant carrots and potatoes today.
