Me & my sister LOVED Justified! It's AMAZING how many people believe that "Justified" was PURE fiction.
That there are or were NO people like Mags and her family.
That there have been no people like the Crowder family or Boyd.
RELIC and I seriously enjoyed the show because we both know enough about Appalachia and near environs to have SEEN and MET folks who COULD have stepped right out of the TV or even stepped INTO the TV and fit perfectly.
The only gators I saw up close was the one Sonny Crocket kept on his boat in Miami vice.
When I was in AIT at Fort Sam in San Antonio back in 1973, I did go to a bar where they had two alligators wrassling.
They do realize LE response time in the country is measured in hours not minutes?
Before the event of GPS there was a joke in central PA. If you saw a state trooper driving a back road chances were they were lost.If they even find your house at all! Ask me how I know...
Only seen them out here about 1/2 dozen times over almost 20 years...once my son who was a kid at the time had to get on the ATV and direct LE to someone’s house...no signage out here!

As far as you folks that still think you are far enough in the boonies to not be easily found, keep in mind that most states have used Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to map and locate most properties. Counties use it for tax parcel mapping and other administrative purposes such as building enforcement. Along with Google Earth, it is very difficult to be not located. Here in the midwest, many rural counties have given every road a number based on some reference point.
