This was in Eugene, Ore. yesterday at the violent antifa gathering. They blocked off the streets and prevented a driver from using the road. When they surrounded him, he brandished a gun. One of the far-left protesters then brandished a gun back.

If, repeat, if he has a valid CHL, he might avoid the Marxist DA in Eugene frying him.
One, he was lawfully transiting the street, when he was blocked, then harassed, then threatened then surrounded by a mob, and ONLY THEN did he pull out his gun. Looks good to me, except it is Eugene.

Sooooo, how did this end? Who backed off first? The PD can ID the driver, no doubt, but I wonder if mr. commie will escape any justice.

He's likely using door as cover, but that only has old man focused on his noggin even more so.

I'm impressed both with how relaxed old man looks to be and whoever is filming up that close,
though I'd sure like to see more of how this all was resolved.

A. Keep looking over his shoulder trying to distract him?

B. Look down and ask if that was his wallet?

C. Just send one between his eyes? Knowing you can't move or dodge.

I agree with Dennis, however, if you pull it - USE IT! Don't warn, don't threaten, don't intimidate, don't brandish. If at all possible avoid, evade, escape, but if you have no other option.......attack!

You may not be the driver, but you are a passenger sometimes.

Crisis actors? Staged?

Sure looks believable at first glance . . . got the adrenaline of the viewers pumping - Hollywood's got nothing on this situation . . . or, do they?

One thing for sure - this event produced useful propaganda visuals and millions of views.

Now, if BOTH the driver and the armed perp could be positively identified, and their backgrounds thoroughly reviewed, then we would have a baseline/starting point by which to understand/interpret these dramatic visuals.

However (at this time), we don't have such objective and useful starting-point info/data.

Interesting how the group-think focus appears to be upon the drama visually represented, and not upon wanting to discover everything possible about these two gun-pointers.

i read on some self defense blog --never stop your vehicle. keep going about 5 mph, keep doors locked and windows closed, never stop never get out of vehicle, just keep going, they will get out of your way. never speed up, and if you can make sharp turns left and right, that puts them off, they expect you toi drive sstraight and its their plan to stop that. swerve and do what they dont expect..

if they lay down in front of your car, you cant see them, you dont know, just keep driving to get out of the riot and away from the attackers because you fear for your life., keep driving 5mph.

I have to place the blame on the driver.
He should have not been in that area.

Because of where this happened, in a communist state,
he will probably spend years behind bars.

What is the very first step, the most important one,
in survival?

I was learned this many years ago, when I first started

public service talk groups, and you should monitor
all radio frequencies, that individuals maybe using,
while mobile in their vehicles.

You maybe able to discern, what highways and areas
that must be avoided.

Please be safe everyone. The end finally arrived on May 25th,
with the martyrdom of the POS Saint George Floyd.
