CHAT Am I overreacting, or are things getting absolutely grim?

We all have been watching this country (and the world) for years as things have moved forward in fits and starts. But since Covid came, things seem to be coming off the rails across multiple disciplines. Supply chain disruptions increasing every week, and affecting critical products such as computer chips, food, energy, building supplies, the list goes on. Politically, the Marxists are hell bent on subjugating and ultimately exterminating conservatives. The dregs of society are elevated to rockstar status while “normals” are driven underground. Neighborhoods are seceding from cities, cities from counties, counties from states. Rioting and crime is skyrocketing unchecked. Even more, police are leaving by the thousands, while Marxist prosecutors jail anyone daring to defend themselves.

This carousel is spinning ever faster toward destruction, and there’s no way to get off. I see the entire world, but particularly the US, unraveling for good. I wish there was something we could do to stop it.

As of the 2010 census blacks make up just a little over 12% of the population. Hispanics are at 16%. Yet they somehow now have 2 national holidays, a whole month of black history, and if you watch tv at all you would think that they comprised at least 50% if not more. We're bombarded with mixed race families, gay families, transgender families at every turn and I doubt that it's mainstream America calling out for this programming. Whoever is pushing this agenda is dead set on bringing down this country and it is working.

You are correct Dennis. Everything is going down the drain SO VERY FAST. I have been asking the Lord to make me brave for what is coming. I have been in that place of being scared- I'm 68 years old, I don't want to worry about food, my home, comfort, electricity, riots, angry people, crazy people, the government, the infirmity that comes with aging and ALL that goes with it. I need to suck it up and be brave for me, my husband and those around me. It is sure hard.

I no longer mention this subject to the few people I still talk to. Right now they are happy with the 600 stimulus check CA sent them. Frappuccino, dinner out they are over the moon. DH is no longer able to dissect everything in a discussion so I mostly mutter to myself. That Merle Haggard song that says " like a snowball headed for hell" that's what it feels like. Everything from the mundane to the economy. Hopeless and out of control.

I sent a long text message to my group about two weeks and in it told them to prep, train and practice hard! Stock up now and ensure that their various affairs are in order. I said to them that IMO we have little time left. Events are moving quickly, incidents are spinning us into places we wish not to be. Speaking for myself only I am absolutely convinced that by the end of the year at the very latest our nation will be embroiled in another major shooting war. I also believe that the US will follow the path similar to what transpired in Yugoslavia. Areas of the country will secede, division will lead to atrocities and chaos will rein. Please folks, prepare now and keep doing it.

You’re correct about the supply chain. We all see it at the stores, car lots, hear it on the news, etc. This is the stuff the normal people see.

I can tell you, the people that supply the manufacturing industry in this country have … never… seen it this bad. Absolutely terrible. The back orders in dollars are ridiculous. Anything coming from overseas especially China, can be months away with zero expected dates to ship. Hitting the electronic industry very hard. Any thing electronic, batteries, computer chips, chargers, computer boards that run CNC and many other machines, etc.

Many things made here as well as much raw product comes from China. All this has Got to blow sometime soon. When the manufacturing stops or slows to a crawl … get ready. It could happen very soon.

Add all this to all the other troubling things that have gone on the last 11/2 years. Covid and truth getting out about it, job losses, Antifa, BLM, all being kept fed and well. Being infiltrated on our southern border when the scream at us to get jabbed, putting more stress on our economy that can’t take much more.

Yeah … it’s gonna blow at some point soon. They can’t pay or bribe their way out of this.

That's the ONE thing I know for a fact. Not one of us is getting out of this alive. For some mad reason, that gives me the freedom to just take one day at a time. One day chunks are much easier to deal with. I made my peace with the grim reaper long ago. I do make plans, but not much beyond my gates or the near future. I hope HE at least gives me fair warning so I can leave the cat outside and open the chicken yard up.

I have been prepping and continue to prep for the simple reason, I wish to be as comfortably uncomfortable as possible. We, TB2K’ers, will become uncomfortable as this great drama unfolds; economy crash/forced vaxx/supply chain/environment-climate/societal breakdown. It’s going to be unpleasant. Steel yourselves. I know I tend to have a rather doom and gloom outlook but I have never in my lifetime seen the country so low, attacked from so many fronts.

I would really like back the country that I love but I wonder if the blackpill has ruined it for me.
