Kari Lake Silent as Arizona Ballot Drop Confirms Almost Certain Defeat


Kari Lake, the Republican candidate for governor in Arizona, has yet to respond after Katie Hobbs' team declared the Democrat is the "unequivocal favorite" to win the midterm election.

Lake, who was endorsed by Donald Trump, and is a 2020 election denier, is currently behind Hobbs by just over 26,000 votes with around 93 percent of the ballots accounted for, according to the Associated Press tally.

While Lake managed to cut Hobbs' lead by around 10,000 following a ballot count on Sunday, experts have suggested that Lake will not be able to overcome Hobbs' lead with around seven percent of votes left to count.

According to the Arizona Mirror's analysis, Lake will need to win just over 58 percent of the remaining votes to surpass Hobbs, something Lake has failed to do in any of the post-election counts.

"At this point, there's one play left in the game and Lake needs a Hail Mary," Republican pollster Paul Bentz told the Arizona Mirror. "I don't think she'll get it."

Dave Wasserman, the editor of the nonpartisan Cook Political Report, tweeted on Sunday that it is "extremely tough to see" how Lake will now go on to win the Arizona gubernatorial race.

In a statement following the latest vote count, Hobbs' campaign team said that the Democrat is the clear favorite to win the election while stopping short of declaring victory.

"With the latest tabulation results from Maricopa, Pinal, and Pima counties, Katie Hobbs is the unequivocal favorite to become the next Governor of Arizona," said Nicole DeMont, Hobbs' campaign manager.

"Katie has led since the first round of ballots were counted, and after tonight's results, it's clear that this won't change."

Arizona officials have said the vote-counting process could still take a few more days, with the majority of those uncounted ballots coming from Maricopa county.

Lake, who could be the latest Trump-endorsed midterm candidate to go on to lose their race, has frequently cast doubt on the integrity of Arizona's election system.

In an interview with Fox News' Maria Bartiromo on Sunday morning, Lake said she is "waiting for the votes to be counted" while adding she would change how the election process in Arizona is run if she was elected governor.

"I consider someone's vote their voice. I think of it as a sacred vote, and it's being trampled the way we run our elections in Arizona," Lake said.

"I've been sounding the alarm for two years. Nothing got done. Very little got done last legislative session, and we need to get in there and restore faith in our elections. We can't be the laughingstock of elections anymore here in Arizona, and when I'm governor, I will not allow it."

Newsweek has reached out to Lake for comment.

This is Dan who shares that there was a tabulator at the Desert Hills polling location that had been BROKEN FOR 7 HOURS. The other tabulator rejected his ballot 13 TIMES before he left to go to another polling location over 25 minutes away.

Supporters of Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake are calling for military intervention to stop election fraud in Arizona’s gubernatorial race.

Lake was destroying her opponent, Democrat Katie Hobbs, in the polls heading into election day, but the processing of ballots has been delayed for no apparent reason. Making matters even more fishy, Hobbs is the current secretary of state and in charge of overseeing ballot processing, in a grotesque conflict of interest.

“We the people are requesting the military to step in and redo our election. It was fake,” a Lake supporter said during a demonstration against election fraud.

Big League Politics reported on how Lake was set to be a firebrand against institutional corruption once elected Arizona governor:

“Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake told the fake news media that she will be their “worst fricking nightmare” once she is elected.

A CBS News reporter pressed Lake about being the potential vice presidential candidate for Donald Trump in 2024. She was annoyed by the question as she has addressed that subject many times before.

“Are you new covering this race? Because we have talked about this before. I’ve answered this question. I am going to not only be the governor of Arizona for four years, I’m going to do two terms,” she said.

Maricopa County Election Judge Speaks Out​

No matter what the results of the midterm elections are in Arizona, Maricopa County is yet again at the center of controversy, and for a good reason.

Election judge Michele Swinick has come forward to report what she experienced in Maricopa County on Election Day. She worked Election Day as a judge at the Islamic Voting Center in Scottsdale, AZ. She reports that the center is heavily Republican, with “no party” designated voters as the second most populous demographic, followed by very few democrat voters, evidenced by the fact that she checked in very few of them on Election Day. She reports she spent the entire day checking in voters.

Swinick says that the tabulators all worked “perfectly” during the test the night before the election. The problem with scanning began immediately with the first ballots. Voters scanned their ballots between 4 and 12 times with very minimal success. Poll workers estimated about 1 in 10 ballots were being read for the first three hours of voting.

Voters were given options to either spoil their ballots and try again or drop them into a different section called “Door 3.” As per Swinick, their inspector had to empty the ballots from “Door 3” three times throughout the early afternoon because of the volume of ballots. Typically, ballots aren’t supposed to be removed from that box until polls close, but they made an exception because the box was jamming and became too full.

Swinick reports that the technician came to the center between 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm MT and rebooted the machines. After this, there were no further issues with ballots being run through tabulators. She reported that one of the poll workers told her, “Everything is now going smoothly with the tabulators.”

Per Swinick’s inspector, an offsite supervisor had advised “Because of the situation” to put all “door 3” ballots that had not been scanned through a tabulator into a separate black bag and to label them “misreads.” As a judge, Michele told UncoverDC that she personally signed the sticker placed over the bag’s zipper, and then these bags were sent to the tabulation center to be counted. Michele informed us that the normal process for a ballot that is “unread” is for poll workers to run the ballots through the tabulators one more time before sending them to the center. As per Swinick, this was not done.

The County had set up a website to give voters the ability to check that their vote was counted. The problem is Michele has proven that the website isn’t correct and seems to be using a voter’s “check in” as evidence their vote was tabulated rather than the actual tabulation of the vote. Michele offered her first-hand proof of this.
“My roommate ran his ballot through the tabulators 15 times as one of the 1st voters at the Islamic Center. It did not read the ballot. He was forced to drop it in door #3.

About an hour after I arrived home at 9 pm MT, my roommate checked the website to see if his vote had been counted. The website reported it was. It is mathematically impossible for his vote to have been counted by then since only an hour before, I left the center, and the ballots had not been taken from the center to the meeting point where the ballots are hand exchanged to another transport team, which takes them to the tabulation center. For his ballot to have been counted, it would have also needed to be sorted and hand-counted by a team at that center and reported into the website —all within that hour.

In the case of In Person/Day of Voting, this proves the reporting of his ballot being received & counted is actually based on his being checked into the Voting Center and him receiving a ballot to be cast—NOT his ballot being scanned and read through the tabulator or hand counted at the tabulation center.”

Michele has also been threatened by her supervisor (first name Timothy) for speaking out about what she has witnessed. He called her and said they “have been scouring social media and saw posts (that Michele) would be going on several podcasts to report information about the election.” Michele told UncoverDC that she was questioned about her podcast, what it’s about, and that they accused her of already appearing on other podcasts earlier in the day, even though, at the time, that was untrue. As per Swinick, her supervisor told her, “if I find out you have gone on any podcasts, I will terminate you.”
UncoverDC asked Michele for her opinion of what was going on, given her experience. She said:
“In my opinion, the machines were programmed to do this, and it was all planned. The process and narrative, both machines and people. It was brilliantly done. They isolated the ballots to replace or not count them in 223 bags. The hard part for them in 2020 and during the primary was getting the ballots to match their manufactured machine count. This way, they have everything isolated in the bags.”

Cue up the "no standing" argument.

Generally in traditional court of law "no standing" is invoked when a plaintiff has no "claim." One cannot sue McDonalds for a meal which one didn't eat - as much as their food might even be dangerous.

To have "standing" in court - one must have "damage."

The "no standing" argument in judicial rebuff seems to have originated during the Great Depression as humans affected by Federal New Deal were making claims that governmental interference in the free market was depriving them of a livelihood, or other "modifications" to a free market as a result of government intrusion. Very few cases of "damage" made it to court or redress - probably because the government considered their intrusion "universal" - anyone in a similar position would encounter a similar intrusion. I.e. the intrusion is "global,"affects everyone, and "it sucks to be you."

But the "no standing" rebuff has become an easy way for a Leftist court to "blow off" a case such as Trump's 2020 election - who if ANYONE has damages, it would be him.
