Given the video footage, how are any vehicles trapped inside, other than the splodey bimmer?

There was one car that almost stopped and then drove into the tunnel following the crash and two more that looked like they might be going into the tunnel right as the crash video ended.

I guess they get what they got, if they don't have eyes, a nose, and brakes and reverse gears.

Looked like either a 3 series or 5 series. Both have plastic gas tanks; the driver going up on the guardrail is what did it. The guardrail acted like a knife and slit the gas tank open.

Agree. That is one scary tunnel. Same thing with the Ft. McHenry tunnels in Baltimore. 4 seperate tunnels, all 4 spooky to drive through.
