Two feared dead in tower block blaze

Two people are feared to have died and dozens more are thought to be trapped in a fire which has engulfed seven floors of at a block of flats in Camberwell, south London.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus were searching the building for the 30 or so people reported to be trapped inside as the blaze threatened to sweep the entire 12 floors of the block.
Those inside the building were part of a team of more than 100 firefighters, 18 fire engines and several specialist appliances including turntable ladders, which had arrived at the scene by 8pm.
The fire broke out on the fourth floor of the tower block at around 4.15pm and quickly spread to the 11th floor.
There was no early indication as the cause of the blaze.
A police source said: "We understand there have been two fatalities in the fire. There are several more casualties. This is an ongoing incident."
A spokesman for the London Ambulance Service said 10 people had been taken to hospital, three in a serious condition.
A London Fire Brigade spokesman said: "A total of 18 fire engines, a range of special appliances and over 100 firefighters are fighting a serious fire in a tower block in Havil Street, Camberwell, this evening.
"A number of rescues have been carried out in extremely difficult circumstances and fire crews equipped with extended duration breathing apparatus are working very hard to reach those still affected and carry out an exhaustive search of the building.
"We received the first of a large number of calls at 4.19pm."
