WAR 5/15th ***THE***PERFECT***STORM***

Reborn

Seeking Aslan's Country
Iran's Bushehr nuclear plant was put into action on May 8th from what I read. It was then "expected to run for two weeks before it begins to generate electricity AND will be hooked up to the national grid WITHIN two months." http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/144035
http://www.imra.org.il/story.php3?id=52275

We could now be at the beginning of the "within two months" phase. Considering all the bad news coming out about the power struggle going on in Iran's government I thought the following information ought to be posted here:

Ahmadinejad's team expects arrival of 12th Imam on June 5

[EXCERPTS]

Supporters of the supreme leader are referring to Ahmadinejad’s group as “The Deviant Movement.” This “group” has announced that within the upcoming weeks a monumental event will turn the tide to their advantage.

This in turn will build up to the announcement of the “covert emergence” of the Twelfth Imam (or Mahdi) in Medina, Saudi Arabia. Hardliners critical of Ahmadinejad maintain that his team believes a covert emergence will commence on the 14th of Khordaad (June 5) in Medina, setting the stage for the announcement of the actual emergence in the next few years.

The question is: Will the rifts in the Iranian leadership push Ahmadinejad and his team to draw Israel into an unwanted war to prove that he is that mythical figure and to facilitate the Rapture?

Actually no surprise here.

To retaliate for the European Union sanctions on Syria, Damascus will strengthen its relationship with Russia, China and Latin America, Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Mualiem said on Monday. Through this shift in diplomatic policies, Syria seeks to show to the EU and the U.S. that there are other global powers they could count on, Mualiem said.

The minister said the travel ban and asset freezes on 10 Syrian officials add to the Europeans' record of colonialism in the Middle East. He said the sanctions would hurt the EU more than it would Syria, which he also admitted affected Syrian interests.

The EU is set to name on Tuesday the names of 10 Syrian officials covered by the EU sanctions.

In addition to the EU, the U.S. also placed sanctions on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, while U.S. President Barack Obama dared Assad last week to initiate a transition towards democracy or step down from power.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called on Assad on Monday to stop the government's harsh treatment of protesters and sought the release of all political prisoners.

Human rights groups estimate that over 850 Syrians have been killed and thousands arrested since the civil unrest escalated in March.

On Sunday, about 7,000 Syrians showed up for the burial of four protesters killed by security forces in Homs on Saturday. The National Organization for Human Rights in Syria reckoned that at least 44 people have died in Homs and other Syrian cities since the government resumed on Friday its crackdown on political dissenters.

Witnesses said the funeral procession ended peacefully with no reports of violence despite the presence of heavily armed security forces in Homs.

I'm speculating here, but I feel strongly that Israel will also go with Russia at some point in time. I do realize that this not jive with Biblical prophecy. However, the Israelis have much more in common with Russia then they do with the U.S.

Interesting vid...checkitout

It is indeed growing INTERESTING old friend. One but needs to 'connect' the other events which are to happen around this June 5th date; and the hairs on the back of one's neck will start to bristle...

Sorry for not checking in (going online for a space) but the needs of the meat world has kept me busy. No matter how much one has in the way of preps. There are still small nitches which need to be filled (especially with POTUS throwing Israel to the "Arab wolves" in a publically given speech, before a global audience. *Not to mention that the fire danger is still extreemly HIGH here, and it will just not rain.

Acutally, I am mildly suprised every morning now, when I arise from slumber; not to find that TSHHTF (IMHO - Doc.... We are THAT close now...

Iranian Refinery Blast before Ahmadinejad Rants against US

by Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu
http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/144451

At least two people were killed and at least 25 injured in an explosion at the launch of a new section of an oil refinery in Iran moments before Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad delivered a speech accusing U.S. President Barack Obama of trying to save Israel and of supporting dictators.

Iranian officials blamed the explosion on a gas leak.

Ahmadinejad took the opportunity to lash out at President Obama for hatching a “scheme to save the Zionist regime, global arrogances and U.S. interests.” Iran typically never uses the term “Israel” and instead describes it as the “Zionist entity.”

"The main enemies of nations are the United States, its allies and the Zionist regime. All regional countries must be vigilant," he added. "Anywhere there is a dictator, he is supported by you ... he is your stooge.

“What is the difference between a country ruled by one or two [dictators] for 30 to 40 years and a country dominated by two parties for many years?”

He accused the United States of creating dissension in the Middle East by trying "to pit regional nations and countries against each other and to wage a war between them.”

Iran’s reaction to President Obama’s policy speech last week was typical. The Iranian foreign ministry said that the president’s “remarks about our peaceful nuclear activities aim to serve the premeditated propaganda launched by the US-Zionist front to spread Islamophobia in our region.”

UN agency comes to aid of Iraq and Syria as devastating weed takes root

http://www.un.org/apps/news/story.asp?NewsID=38484&Cr=farmer&Cr1=

24 May 2011 – The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) reported today that it is assisting farmers in Iraq and Syria battle a devastating alien weed that sucks nutrients from the soil and starves crops of much-needed water.

The berries of the weed, known as silverleaf nightshade (Solanum elaeagnifolium), can also poison livestock if ingested, according to the Rome-based agency.

The weed, which has very deep roots and is covered in spines, is a relative of the tomato originally hailing from tropical America. FAO says it probably arrived in the Middle East through trade, its seeds hidden in containers or in bags of agricultural commodities.

More than 60 per cent of the cultivated land in Syria, growing mainly cotton and wheat, has now been infested with the weed.

In north-western Iraq, a similar mass infestation has been reported and the weed has also been spotted in various sites in Lebanon and Jordan, where it will spread if nothing is done, warns FAO.

The agency is implementing a project to help farmers manage and prevent further spread of silverleaf nightshade in all four countries.

“We want to introduce an integrated weed management approach, which means we will not focus on herbicides, although we might use them if we have to, but instead we would rather test sustainable alternative management possibilities,” said Gualbert Gbèhounou, FAO Weed Officer.

FAO is recommending that farmers rotate regular crops with the fodder crop alfalfa, which covers the ground and competes with silverleaf nightshade.

“This prevents the weed from producing new seeds and also reduces amount of weed seed in the soil,” the agency noted.

It is also encouraging countries to review their regulatory environments and collaborate to reinforce control of silverleaf nightshade at the national and regional levels.

Alien weed hits cotton, wheat in Syria, Iraq

.24 May 2011 12:39 GMT
http://news.stv.tv/environment/251879-alien-weed-hits-cotton-wheat-in-syria-iraq-fao/

MILAN (Reuters) - An invasive alien weed, silverleaf nightshade, is threatening cotton and wheat crops in Syria and Iraq and could spread to Lebanon and Jordan, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) said on Tuesday.<br />More than 60 percent of the farmland in Syria, growing mainly cotton and wheat, has been infested with the weed, originally from the American tropics, which sucks nutrients from the soil and starves crops of water, the FAO said in a statement.

Olive groves have been affected by the weed and a similar mass infestation has been reported in northwest Iraq. The invasive plant has also been spotted at sites in Lebanon and Jordan, where it will spread if nothing is done, it said.

"This particular type of weed competes aggressively with crops for nutrients whilst its deep root system dries down soil moisture," Gualbert Gbehounou, FAO Weed Officer, said in the statement.

The weed, a relative of the tomato, probably arrived in the Middle East as a result of globalization of trade through seeds accidentally brought over in containers or bags of farm commodities, the FAO said.

The Rome-based agency said it has been working on a project to help farmers manage and prevent further spread of the weed in the four countries, as requested by their governments.

The FAO recommended that farmers should rotate regular crops with the fodder crop alfalfa, which covers the ground and competes with silverleaf nightshade to prevent the weed from producing new seeds and reduce amount of weed seed in the soil.

The FAO said it sought to encourage the countries to review their regulatory environments and work together to reinforce control of the weed at the national and regional levels.

Ahmadinejad & Erdogan survive assassination attempt
http://debka.com/article/20963/

A large explosion set fire to an oil refinery unit in Abadan, Iran's biggest oil city, during a visit by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Tuesday, May 24. He came to inaugurate a unit for expanding production capacity by 4.2 million liters a day. Two people were killed and 12 injured. The blast was attributed by officials to a gas leak or "a technical fault" in one of the units, without specifying whether it was the same unit Ahmadinejad was scheduled to visit. However, according to debkafile's Iranian sources, the explosion was triggered by his pushing the button to activate it that

Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan safe after convoy attacked

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Wednesday one policeman was killed and another injured when his convoy was attacked on its way to a campaign rally.

Erdogan was not in the convoy at the time of the attack and was airlifted to his next stop in a helicopter, NTV news reported.

The attack happened in northern Turkey, between the cities of Kastamonu and Cankiri, where the prime minister had a campaign event.

A bomb exploded in front of the police convoy escorting the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party bus after it made a stop in Kastamonu.
