Might want to check a local Bass Pro Shop if you have one nearby, the one near me in Bolingbrook, IL still had lots of Magpul 20rd AR10 mags and AK mags.

I think SKH mags are made in Korea, I had some of there glock 21 long mags, and they didnt work.

Those steel G.O. AR mags are my favorite AR mag. Buy with confidence (if you live in a free state).

I grabbed some of the AR magazines last time and grabbed more this time. They are South Korean if I remember right and are an excellent product.

Arfcom has people who have used the ar15 mags and been very happy. The 1911 mags were said to be junk. Don't recall on the ak or glock mags cause I got ak mags when surplus was cheap and for most of my glocks I buy used police trade in factory mags.

Anytime there is metal on metal sliding parts, even some polymers, at a minimum a dry type lubricant should be used. When my dad had old steel magazines, regardless of caliber, they were disassembled and a dry graphite spray used to lube the follower springs, inside of mag surfaces, sometimes the follower. He nor did I ever see an issue with any feeding. Dry graphite doesn't collect dirt and is actually a pretty decent low speed, low force lube on sliding metal parts. Dry Teflon can be used but I shy away from it due to PFOA and PFOS that might be present...toxic Teflon byproducts. YMMV

Darn it if I didn't just go vote, and sitting here thinking while waiting for a service appointment at the house.
Another box coming for potential "rainy days"...

UPDATE:

The 1911 mags I ordered just showed up. I can confirm that they are JUNK; they won't insert into my Springfield. Can't even get them started... How they even get marketed as 1911 mags is beyond me. This is the first bad product I have received from G.O.

I will be returning them Monday morning.

I wonder if we should initiate an “AR mag warehouse.” Have someone collect mags that others send to him/her, and he then sends a few to each person in a Communist state on an “on request” basis.

For example, let’s say we have 50 members each buy 5 mags. Those that buy send them to the “mag coordinator.” So he has 250 mags. Then people send him requests for mags. Let’s say limit 3 for the sake of discussion. The coordinator ships the requesters 3 mags at no charge. When stock gets low the coordinator requests a “re-stock.”

I dunno how workable that is; I’m just thinking out loud really.

On arf some Oregon threads have this for a concept. Oregon resident buys from global and ships to vern who lives in another state. Oregun person also gets pirate ship label so when vern gets box they just put pirate ship label on box and off it goes. 26 of these ar mags tend to show up in usps flat rate box so not hard to figure out shipping cost.

I understand you are kind of looking at it differently Dennis but eggs in one basket just scare me a bit.

I loaded up 1k rounds in these mags 2 weeks ago then ordered another pile of them.v I have several P mags but only leave a few loaded and only with the top cap on that takes pressure off of the feed lips. I also ordered some of the Glock mags for my 9mm AR's but have not tried them yet.

I'm no lawyer. I believe what's being described here may be conspiracy.

We all will eventually get the chance for the state to make us a felon.

Everybody can make their own private decision how they "spend their nickel".

Make it count. All 5 cents worth....

Just sayin

Theoretical for Oregonians

You get caught with a high capacity mag.
First offense is a misdemeanor.
You pay your fine and go forward.

Your neighbor's kid who you watched grow up becomes a cop.

He pulls you over for speeding. Your second offense of possessing a high cap mag will be a felony.
Do you
a) hope he cuts you a friend&family break and look the other way

b) come out of the car hoping to make it to slide-lock-empty before he ENDS you

c) rot in a cell. (they'll find room to house you. Trust me)

Each person must make their own decisions...

Arfcom has a phrase they use. In mine craft. In today's world I figure the name of this site will be enough to get me in trouble.

UPDATE on the 1911 mags...

I called Global Ordnance this morning to set-up a return for the 1911 mags. I mentioned that I couldn't even get them started in my Springfield. They said, "Since they're that much out of spec, there's nothing we can do with them, so we will just issue you a refund. Have a nice day."

Class act.

My latest batch from them all have anti tilt followers already installed! I took one apart to install some followers and they were 99.9% the same as the aftermarket Magpull followers that I had.

Good deal got better!
