39 Million Households Including Most U.S. Children To Get $3,000 Stimulus Payment
by Tyler Durden

2-3 minutes

In the latest evolution of creeping Universal Basic Income, Biden administration officials said on Monday that a poverty-fighting measure included in the COVID-19 relief bill passed this year will deliver monthly payments to households including 88% of children in the United States, starting in July. The Democratic-backed American Rescue Plan, signed into law by President Joe Biden in March as a response to the coronavirus pandemic, expanded a tax credit available to most parents.

Treasury and the IRS also announced the increased CTC payments, will be made on the 15th of each month allowing families who receive the credit by direct deposit to plan their budgets around receipt of the benefit. Eligible families will receive a payment of up to $300 per month for each child under age 6 and up to $250 per month for each child age 6 and above.
Eligible recipients will get up to $3,000 per child, or $3,600 for each child under the age of 6, in 2021, subject to income restrictions.
The benefit will reach 39 million households, many automatically and by direct deposit every month, starting on July 15. It is one of several measures the administration says could lift more than 5 million children out of poverty, half of the total number of U.S. youngsters in that situation, according to Reuters.

Officials are trying to help the economy recover from the pandemic. Yet recent signs of higher inflation have raised concern that those costs could eat away at incomes and exacerbate inequality, which has been supercharged ever since the global financial crisis by the Fed's actions, a point we have been making since 2009 and which was underscroed by Stanley Druckenmiller in a recent discussion in which he said that "There's Been No Greater Engine Of Inequality Than The Fed"
Biden has asked Congress to extend the tax credit through 2025.

Our kids bring in a heck of a lot more money than we do. They don't need the stimulus payment. They fritter their money away! I hear about and see the fun and frivolous things they buy while we have trouble keeping up with the increased costs of everything!!

Where is the stimulus payment for all of us retires who are barely making it???????

As the narrative dissolves, and as the truth of this planned, worldwide attack on humanity is exposed, they’re going to try to buy you off, America.

Are you for sale ?

Everyone on this board was cheering in their stimulus checks a few months ago. I was berated to no end for trying to refuse the payments. I was given every excuse possible to justify the acceptance of the payment.

Samuel Adam’s was the only one who agreed with me.

Now the same people that berated me for refusing the payment are jealous of the parents getting the payment.

The entitlement is crazy.

If you didn’t stand up against the payment to you...don’t complain when they continue without you.

Yes I will personally refuse a payment since I have 2 children at home. Like I did the first payments. It took hours of work to return the money, since I couldn’t block the direct deposits.

Cheering ? Perhaps, but in reality it is all over. I show no shame in taking what is being given out. I have contributed over and over again to the point of utter poverty and then climbed out of that. I now know that it is all going to crash and there is a strong chance that all I have done in my lifetime is for naught.

I have prepared, but feel that it won't be enough. So take the money and use it to do a bit more good for you and yours.

The next decade will be fraught with those who are determined to kills us.

I really hope I am wrong.

That is what the 'vaccine' shots are for - - - to kill off as many of the fools that take them as possible.
If not within days then when the next wave of mutated Wuhan Flu hits.

Your opinion of the shots may vary, DIIC!

Interesting thought, yes they do want to kill us, but what if the now vaccinated and unmasked are actually walking incubators ready to spew us all with a new powerful and fully mutated killer virus?

If I had my druthers, there would have been no stimulus payments to anyone for anything. But I'm not the rule maker. And if "they" are going to crash this economy by throwing out free money, then I'll take it just like everyone else. We used that money to pay for some prep things we needed. If we hadn't taken it, we wouldn't have the items and someone else would maybe have ended up with the money to fritter away.

I admire your fortitude in not taking the payments. Your choice was your choice. I'm complaining now because "they" are obviously discriminating against us older people. This extra money will not go "to the children." It will be spent by their parents. Some will spend it on their kid's needs, but the vast majority will fritter it away on drugs, booze, or totally unnecessary and unneeded luxury items. It's not going to pull children out of poverty. It's going to give their parents the "stuff" they wanted that they normally can't afford. Very little will be spent on the kids.

When it comes to these extra stimulus payments, think on these four things:
1. Your return of the stimulus marked you and placed you on their naughty conservatives list.
2. The money you returned was a drop in the bucket. It probably went to someone else to fritter away.
3. You could have used the money to get yourself in a better position for when the crash comes.
4. Your little bit of returned money isn't at all going to stop the economy from crashing.

Can't help but wonder if enough of us had said this loudly enough, say outside legislators homes and offices, if it could have been enough to matter. Probably not. But we shoulda just the same.

This makes me SICK!!! We have not gotten any stimulus and no doubt won't get this one but we sure see the effects on the inflation. This is absolute bullshit!

ENOUGH!!!!!

Omgeee I see this and immediately wonder how much is going to get pumped out to illegals pouring into the country? How much is going to get shelled out and then get handed over to pay the human traffickers? Good heavens - the evil and corruption runs so deep.... SMH

And what exactly did you accomplish? Nothing, that's what. We're still spinning the bowl more rapidly than ever. Your principles did nothing, congrats. I love holier than thou people.

Uncle sammie is, that's the crux of the problem, and their solution, or at least one o' em...
While you probably understood what I was saying, just in case you didn't........

Some "families" have 10 kids (=30,000.00 a month definitely lifted out of poverty) and they each have a different father. Which is no where to be seen, and in general is considered an unknown.

I wonder if at 30,000.00 a month if they would be considered poor and need medicaid, EBT cards, free phones, and the extra boost for gas to go to the government offices, to acquire more benefits?

This is just another step in the race war. Few whites have children anymore so the greatest share of this stimulus will go to blacks and hispanics for the Dems to try and build their base back up by buying votes.

$3,000 not $30,000.

And just like that, your money is becoming worthless.

In living Technicolor and in real time. And that is precisely why many of us have been banging the gong about holding at least some real gold and silver. All these paper assets and the dollars they are valued in are going to be burned up in a conflagration that will make the Great Depression look like a church social in comparison. We are witnessing the greatest wealth transfer in recorded history.

In my AO, overdosing has increased dramatically, 3 or 4 per day. Suicides 2 and 3 times per week. People going absolutely cray cray in their behavior! Too much stimulus or not enough. I don't know! I bought preps, some bought the farm. Sad. Scary times.
Just more evidence of the herd being thinned is what I think you're seeing, Fairwillows. Some are obvious, some are not.

Note I said for 10 children.

And this from OP

10 children x 3,000.00 per child = 30,000.00

Just saying seems like a lot.
Actually, they likely would still qualify for services as that $30,000 would be the annual income for a family of 11.
