The security camera can be monitored from DC. They can be monitored from the Capitol Police Station in SF. That is some expensive hardware hanging off the walls. No excuses for not releasing the tape of the perp breaking and entering the building other than he didn't.

My nephew has a small 4G camera set up on one of his favorite hunting spots that he monitors via cell phone all the time. Not an expensive set up but works.

Yep. The refusal to allow the video surveillance to be used means that it contradicts the narrative. I hope to hell they entered the narrative into the legal proceedings thus far, because that would be an easy obstruction of justice charge.

If DePape's attorney hasn't been subverted, I strongly suggest that any video will have to come out during discovery. It's entirely possible - if not likely - that the video will have mysteriously disappeared due to "technical issues," but that should strengthen DePape's case.

Of course when dealing with legal issues at this level of political power in 2022 Amerika, one should never expect normal or fair outcomes. I still think there's a better than even chance that DePape will be Epsteined.

Wonder if the neighbors have any video of paul bring the other two in a car. It's highly likely someone on his route home has the car passing by. Wonder if they've all been confiscated by now...... maybe a uber driver with the two of them....

He came to the US years ago, back when I think there was visa/inspection-free travel between the US and Canada. It is interesting that the US never bothered to deport him when he overstayed things for years. But then I noticed that US Immigration only tends to care about Canadians if they are costing the US government something and they realize they are in the US.

They also can make a lot of trouble for people in legitimate marriages to Americans, one friend broke down and finally screamed: "What makes you think I even want to live in this country? I'm a Canadian, I have a perfectly good country, I just want to live with my husband!" Immigration treated her so badly that she and her husband ended up moving to the United Kingdom (where they still live 20 years later) because one of them qualified for citizenship there via a grandparent.

Given all the less than "veiled" references to this incident in last night's Biden speech, I'm beginning to think this was a "setup" designed to further paint Trump supporters as terrorists.

The one-two double whammy. An incident - and then Biden pointing it up in public address only 7 days before the election. The timing is impeccable even if the aria is sung off key.

Depape was unstable, that much is fact. But he wasn't MAGA - by a long shot - and I believe a fake Twitter account where he claims various violent MAGA tendencies as his own was first found by MEEDIA and loaded in the informational gun - and then quickly found to be fraudulent by the more savvy. As in - the primary indicator of MAGA connection was removed.

And Depape was dangerous in his instability. The head shot which occurred AFTER the police arrived might have been his over-enthusiasm - and not knowing how dangerous a hammer blow to the head actually is. This whole thing is not "Loony Tunes" except in conception.

Not to say that once the stage was set and the theater in play, the DNC didn't decide to "go with what we got."

They are reaching for straw with the election pending - are they not?
