My blood is boiling!!!!
She will have the last laugh. All she needs to do is contact a nurse recruiter. Critical staffing shortages worsening with no end in sight.
I could only watch about 15 seconds of this at a time. It's so thoroughly pathetic to watch this hospital try to do this dance. They can't actually fire the nurses because it would be illegal. But they can't keep them so they try to get them to leave "voluntarily" under a ton of duress. I'm given to understand that this is how the draft works.
And you can't access your retirement....This is how I'm being treated. They've placed me in "absent without leave" status and ignoring me. I won't be receiving pay for this pay period. They've encouraged me to resign and I've not only said no but have repeatedly told them that I'm ready to return to work (without conditions). But they've barred me from the building where I work so if I go there I could face federal trespassing charges.
I look at it this way. I win no matter what. They'll either stop trying to enforce the mandates, or they'll figure out how to terminate me and I'll sue. A big fat settlement check from uncle sugar would suit me just fine. He's taken enough from me... getting a little back would be a nice change.

That's what I was thinking. They'll just leave you in limbo with no pay to try to wear you down until you quit. But if they have barred you from the building, that sounds like they are firing you. This is such weird territory where people are being fired but the employer refuses to officially confirm the firing either verbally or in writing. If I were you, I would talk to an atty and see if they can advise you on what you can do to try to force their hand. It sounds like they've barred you from the building and are not paying you, essentially firing you, but they won't say it or put it in writing because they want to be able to say later on that you resigned so that no legal claims can be made.Or they'll just leave you at that status forever. It costs them nothing to keep you there, I don't think.
If they keep this up hospitals are going to implode…cannot operate without staff. That would also hurt big pharma…and they don’t take too kindly to that.Hospitals in this area are not lacking bed space; they are lacking trained personnel.
I hope they go belly up! Pieces of sh!t!!If they keep this up hospitals are going to implode…cannot operate without staff. That would also hurt big pharma…and they don’t take too kindly to that.
It’s your phone. How old is it? Have you tried using a PC? If not, why not? When I try to watch this video it goes to horizontal lines at about 9 seconds in.
I don't know if it is my phone or some other SOB censoring what I watch.
This is becoming common.

But, I still muse, that this sort of BS is running rampant in the USA because it has presidents/foundation and that makes this okay in the socialist/ptb eyes.

God bless that poor little baby nurse. She's so scared, you can hear it in her voice, but she TAKES A STAND. If I could tell her, I would say this old nurse "an orca" per Georgie Carroll, is so proud of her. Right now, we are being offered an additional $30/hr to come in and work. The answer is no. Hospitals in this area are not lacking bed space; they are lacking trained personnel.
It's scenes or situations like this, that I hope everyone remembers who did this to them.
Who forced a mask on them. Who denied them medical care. Who even suggested they should be denied access to anywhere, from grocery stores, to bars, to hospitals.
I hope they remember who didn't let them see their dying relative in the hospital.
And when the time comes, we all make them pay for choosing oppression, communism.
People who are in their nineties or over a hundred have got to be reeling from culture shock.
Apply for unemployment asap. This is how I'm being treated. They've placed me in "absent without leave" status and ignoring me. I won't be receiving pay for this pay period. They have been advised to not "terminate" but rather to force the employees to leave. That way they can say they resigned and avoid the costs of firing them.I could only watch about 15 seconds of this at a time. It's so thoroughly pathetic to watch this hospital try to do this dance. This is why you file for unemployment. It will force them to answer the question. That's what I was thinking. They'll just leave you in limbo with no pay to try to wear you down until you quit. I am so sorry this is happening to you.

If someone says that you answer “ According to whom “I hate when someone says "Do the right thing" as they use that to manipulate you into doing their dirty work for them. I've had cops try that with me, damn sure wouldn't let an HR department, security, whatever, try to con me into quitting and saving their asses from a lawsuit.
"Do the right thing" should be a phrase everyone hates and rejects outright.
