I had exactly the same response 2 months ago for the same fish sandwich deal. The meal was fine, I just crossed McD off my list FOREVER. I wonder how that works in real life when enough people refuse to patronize your place ever again ?
You’re exactly right.I see cars lined up around mickeyDs at all hours.
It's astounding, the number of people who live on that crap.

I don't think catfish thrive at altitude but anywhere S of MD, you can find catfish on just about every menue and in 38105, even on some 'upscale' ones.Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas and Louisiana all have numerous restaurants that serve excellent catfish dinners.
That's just one of the problems of Iowa food right now. I eat most of my fish around Lent. That's when it really is "jet fresh" and the area Catholic organizations do a good job at the Friday evening fish fry.
The rest of the time, it's pretty bad, and road trips are necessary. On the other hand, Iowa beef, pork, and chicken is to die for! Lamb, not so much.
I can deal with substandard fish and lamb when the beef, pork, and chicken are so good.
Added: I'm probably not getting my lamb at the right places.
Man I would be in heaven, just give me the catfish pleased, and not just fried, if a person knows how to grill it properly it is divine.
Hence why I am doing my best to stock up.Hence why I am doing everything I can to get these gardens in with this heat.
you southerners can keep your hush puppies
That's expensive! No?well a place opened up here in town, four days ago, that specializes southern food and they have a fried catfish dinner on their menu for $17.99.I’ll be sure to report my findings!

Yeah, and we are all tired.Inflation, that's for tires, right?
We used to have those in Alabama. When i was young my son and i would go and watch them cry when they saw us coming. They knew that the days profits were going to be down when they saw us coming.I've been to several restaurants thru the years around Central Texas that specialize in "all you can eat" catfish dinners.
Sounds like you live in paradise.Catfish is a food staple here. Pretty much every restaurant, even the Mexican and Chinese ones, serves it. Dairy Queen too.
Ain't been made right. The best catfish is the big blue catfish, caught in clearer fresh water lakes, IMO.
Caught a mess of them while jugging in Kaw lake Oklahoma. Best by far.
But you southerners can keep your hush puppies, I keep trying them, and each time they taste like bitter chalk, IMO.
Winter is the best time to catch blue catfish
The big blues bit the best as the weather gets colderwww.oklahoman.com
