HEALTH Ouch!!! - UPDATE, post 107

ESFP adrift in INTJ sea
So Nightdriver stepped out this AM to help me (R.E.L.I.C.) unload the displays and leftover stock from Saturdays show and promptly tripped over a flagstone and FOR SURE: FRACTURED right foot (1st metatarsal), right wrist and possibly several ribs. Stitches count is either 6-8 above eye. As he can't use crutches due to shoulder issues, he has to be admitted. Kudos to Euclid EMS who listened to him and boarded him, rather than try to stand him up from the gravel. And the Dr who has ok'ed morphine!.

I'm so sorry. Prayers for an easy recuperation. It's scary how much damage tripping and falling can do. A dear friend recently tripped and fell gardening, and broke a hip. Had to have an immediate total hip replacement. I'm glad you didn't break a hip!

Prayers for a quick and complete recovery.
I have a flagstone walk in the back of the house. I often use the mulch walkway right next to it, for obvious reasons. I have(1 time) tripped over the stump at the end of the mulch.

Who woulda thunk that flagstones were attack flagstones? The two that I have as stepping stones are about 4 inches thick and we recessed them into the grass by the pond for that very reason. I'm really good at tripping over things.

Ooh geeez, ND get well soon! Don't cough. Well maybe with morphine you can cough, but broken ribs and coughing are the worst.


I trip all the time, on the ground, on steps. So far only a scar on forehead from glasses and a black eye. I tend to faceplant. Oh, and I loosened up a hip replacement a bit, but it healed by itself.
My brain isn't in communion with my body anymore....

Good Lord Almighty. So glad it wasn't worse. Prayers for ND's quick and complete recovery and maybe they'll fix anything else wrong while he has their attention.
