As you all know, we have an "infraction" system here. We copied it over from the old software. If one gets an infraction rather than a warning, "points" are assessed, which expire after a relatively short period. If one accumulates 10 "active" points, one goes to Timeout for the duration of the points. If one accumulates 20 active points, one gets "banned". (We call it "autoban.")
Anyway, it looks like there might be a bug in this software that doesn't set a person back to "active" upon expiration of the points. I'll need to check with the XenForo people about that.
In the meantime, if you got banned suddenly and without notice, email the registrar mailbox:
registrar@timebomb2000.com
Deena reads the inbox every few days and will bring any "hung" autobanned folks to the attention of the rest of us to be unbanned.
