The air advisory is in effect till noon today. They added a flood advisory for flash floods from the thunderstorms. Up to 1.5 inches per hour for one hour. It covers the greater metro area including downtown Portland and Clackamas county.

I was just going to post that we are watching PT News Network "Wake Up America" and Steve's live streaming the current riot in Portland. Arrests are being made. Yeah! Idiots are blocking a street in front of the target building of the evening. I have no idea what it is. But after days of choking smoke, the rioters are out after the first much needed rain in months. My contempt for them knows no bounds.

The umbrella brigade is advancing on the LEO's, who are hitting back with pepper rounds I think. Lots of rounds. And lots more rounds. LOL Guess who's retreating? LOL

They're nuts. I think people are pretty much sick of them by now. Rochester kind of died the past couple of days; they ended up holding knitting classes on the steps of City Hall. LOL.

sheesh they are on the corner of Broadway and Morrison about 500 feet from where I live. That exact spot is one I have walked through, stood on, or caught the MAX 100,000 times since 1994. I'm cool with this Marxist bitch. She just sanctioned me to kill her if I need to. Probable cause and all that.

arrests means NOTHING unless they are charged and then PHYSICALLY DETAINED SO THEY CAN'T RIOT THE NEXT EVENING. We will see what happens.

My daughter is moving to Portland next month about half mile east of the moda center on ne multnomah. I'm scared too death. We're from small town Louisiana. No ties to Portland, never been there, knows no one there. I can't understand why she would move there, but there is no talking her out of it (she's 31). Says she wants something different. Something happens to her, it would take forever to get to her.

Tink, I don't think you have much to worry about. Anyplace east of the Willamette River is not going to see protests of any significance. The area you describe does have some older neighborhoods, so it depends on exactly where she will live. Tell her to avoid Holladay Park in the evenings.

I told hubby about the citizens throwing eggs... his comment was "I hope they were rotten". Yeah... people would have to think and plan ahead, but I'd pay to see them use totally rotten eggs (goose eggs woukd be wonderful, but they're out of season) exploded on their heads. I wonder how long it would take to remove the stench from a head full of dreads?!

Police Precinct at SE 106th & Stark was the scene of considerable mayhem recently. Last night's party was at ICE in SW.
I have offspring in SE, so I'm watching too.

Antifa has hit multiple areas east of the river multiple times from 50th and burnside to 106 and stark. Sounds to me she is moving into PRIME riot zones

The courthousse they massed at was the closed one named gus solomon at broadway and main. They tore down the american flag, marched down to the justice center and burned it. Now they are marching back to broadway foul mouthed SCUM the lot of them. They also defaced a teddy Rooseveldt statue in the park blocks. They are south of me by 6 blocks.
Mzkitty, worthless Wheeler and his light pollution press release show how far gone Portland is. It is a group of about 200 to 300 that is doing all the damage for the last 3 months. The fact they burnt the US flag in a demonstration designed to honor rbg shows none of it was EVER about social justice.
