Questions of my own.......A list of the Portland protesters demands:
“Directly behind Mayor Wheeler, a list of protesters’ demands projected on the Justice Center,”
- Defund the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) by at least 50% and “reinvest into the communities, especially the black community.”
- Free all protesters from jail.
- Get federal law enforcement officers out of Portland.
- Force Wheeler to resign.
Define "reinvest into the communities". A new road? A new building for blacks only? What does this really mean? To me it seems to be a meaningless statement beyond..... give us much money or else.....
They want Wheeler out, just vote against him / her.......
Want the feds to leave...... good luck on that one.....
Free protesters....?..... there are no protesters in jail? Anarchists? Sure by the dozen.

Before I stepped on it, the NPR Radio (no tuning but was tuned permanently to receive NHPR) one could say the radio was "mostly working." It was a challenge. A warm day would make the reception "fuzzy" with no adjustment.
Still, for Owner's "Click & Clack" show and the "NPR Business Roundup" it was worth listening to. "Good enuf" as Owner would say.
After I stepped on it, the radio definitely made the transition to "mostly NOT working." In this case I was like the Feds protecting their Federal Property - as I was protecting my sanity.
Owner had the sense to not try to convince me I did something unacceptable. Owner knows me well enough to know I would not be intellectually digesting that. I consider that I did the agricultural world a "service" by eliminating that neuron scourge on mankind - and equine. Owner might not agree - but he has not replaced the radio either.
But I'm not a resident of Portland OR. Seemingly they believe any fool story handed to them by a complicit MEEDIA. And property ownership is seemingly 0.1 percent of their law, and 0.01 percent of their knowledge of the world.
They deserve to find out what it is like with NO employment. And a government who one expects will be as effective at "social supports" as they are at "rule of law."
As in, there ain't any. And that world is coming for them - FAST.

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) – Portland police are responding to a shooting in southwest 4th Avenue and Salmon Street.
One person has been taken into custody, according to PPB.
Officers are working to secure the area.

Hmm, I keep saying I'm in the Spirit now and this SHIT ain't on me.
All of this happened on 4th and Salmon this afternoon, while I was at Shemanski square at Park and Salmon, about 4 blocks away, reading, listening to David Suchet, he played Poirot on the PBS series. I listened to him read Isaiah chapter 1 verses 21 to 26. I
didn't realize it at the time but it meshed perfectly with Portland's current state of existence. I had a great time and didn't see S$%&&.
Those mags looked like 5.56 mm magpul, for an AR-15 no doubt. This will in a firefight and blood on the streets soon enough. Sunday is God's Day. He gave it to me and I took it and no MARXIST SCUM, BLM THUGS are taking it away from me. Recharged the ole batteries I did. Course I had my snub nosed 38 special.handy.
