Well, there's a chart in the BS showing deaths from flu vs. SARS-Cov2 in Texas. SARS-Cov2 is falling way behind on annual flu deaths it appears.

i have not read this thread, but i wonder if anyone will be able to tell me some info.
ihave no idea where or when exactly that is heard it, but i remember something fairly recently about people get the annual flu shot somehow being more susceptible to covid. it was something along the lines of those that had NOT gotten the flu vaccine were among the less severe, and those that HAD gotten the flue vaccine were those that had the more severe.
does anyone remember seeing anything about this?

The obvious.... is the fact that covid19 deaths are...mostly...IN ADDITION...to flu deaths..not in place of them...
A NEW breed of (death and or chronic sickness results from this infection...type mechanism) this is now added to the mix....of life threats...for all of us....
.now...would some of those folks have died from the flu had they not been infected with covid??
sure...some...but thats not that relevant..as lots of these people with covid19... are getting ripped off ...by at least a full THIRD..of their future lifespan..!
This is NOT just an old folks disease...(like what causes most flu deaths)..this disease overwhelmingly hits and kills..tons of folks in their 50s...early 50s!! (and they are not ALL OBESE!!)(lots of skinny ones that were fully healthy before)... not to mention some in their 40s and younger..this thing is also a fast changer..and NOT in a good way..LOTS of way younger folks have it and are struggling in the icu's..This virus..LEARNS....

You'll get no argument with me.........I agree.........problem is if I hold as much skepticism to the point of confirmation then it just may be too late.................then again if it gets really bad what could anyone do beyond the usual prep stuff...........and if someone survives it all would they want to live the rest of their days in a collapsed and ruined society either?

I watched a video a few days ago that touched on this from that John Campbell on YouTube. (I believe there are differing opinions on these video bloggers who have been covering the pandemic, e.g. Campbell, Martenson, etc. - not sure where Campbell falls for most on that spectrum.) Anyway, he discussed the following published article from 2012 on this topic:
The results in that article seemed to warrant potential concern, but I think he said he wasn't able to find any other studies that covered this area, including any flu-shot-vs-no-flu-shot data correlated to disease severity in confirmed COVID patients. The above study was not that large, so extrapolating and inferring could be suspect.

Typical Flu deaths in the US are estimated to be 36,000 per year, though I've seen published ranges of 18k to 65k for a 'bad' year.
Deaths attributed to the CV so far are 139,255.
Got a ways to go this year for both, too.

I'm afraid that was long before the types of tracing they have today. You can't even get away from them once you get back to the US, after only visiting China. Their tentacles reach to every corner of the world now. I have a friend that lived in China for 13 years, got married there, and had to flee the country. This person and their spouse moved here to the US. The CCP is still tracking them, and they let them know, periodically, that they are still being tracked. Scary stuff.

Your emotions are obviously related to your concerns for your family involved in the medical field, and you should be. Please keep them safe with the knowledge that this is likely a fecal spread disease which is why nursing homes and hospitals are the prime hotspots for covid 19. Wearing masks is fine to some degree in some settings, but washing their hands is the primary prevention.

Wife and I went almost completely broke....unselfishly..(gave up lots of lifes rewards) getting these kids educated..
7 years plus of school for the kids... each..$$$$$.and wife is still working on her masters at 57!..
yes higher education has been this familys goal.as well as its curse..with skyrocketing tuition..!All...in order to be there for sick folks in need and to be prominent in the medical field..to actually make a difference..

That is nothing, in Florida everyone who is tested for covid 19, is positive. 100%.
When this broke out in China, an entire apartment building had people testing positive despite no contact with each other. How? They don't have drain traps in their septic system, figure out the rest for yourself. What do drain traps, hospitals and nursing homes all having in common?

And what type of test did they give the give the crew? The accurate one or the cheap one? If they gave them an antibody test it may be giving them positive results because they had an ordinary corona cold virus in the last 6 months. If they all caught Covid-19 they would have had some seriously ill crew members that would have needed to be picked up by a helicopter while the ship was still at sea.
I think the state should start sending the test to a competent and honest lab.
