Knew the title would get some attention.
Anyway did a little experiment recently. I knew Port and Marsala wines were fortified with Brandy and it helped keep them from going off once the bottle was uncorked.
I got a liter and a half bottle of Costco's finest and (after carefully testing a glass to see if it was good ) I added two tablespoons of vodka. It worked. The wine was fine even after several days and cheese and charcuterie boards.
Be warned. It has a bit more kick than regular wine.
