1 or 3 cops getting out of the car would be absolutely ridiculous...NOT to mention likely fatal right about now.

TACTICALLY it's stupid.

C'mon, THIMK.

Sarcasm sensor has been on the Fritz since '79....
Then, they shouldn't show up until ready for a confrontation.
Pleading? If you know you will be disobeyed, it is ridiculous to ask.
Looks weak, is weak. Stupid.
C'mon, think.

Burning the flag yelling F America by a fat brown lady..................then why stay here?

Ohh she says...............Make America Native again......claiming her family ancestry has been here for 1,000s of years.

Well what kind of land was this before it was White America?

In the continental US there were over 600 tribes of "native Americans" and they were often in conflict over their nomadic existence of land and resources with each other.........there was no unity among them during this time.......nor of course was there anything but a stone age cultural existence.

Is that the greatness she seeks? .......or does she think "native people's" can maintain and continue to replicate what they never could in the first place?

Or is she just a product of today's ignorance/indoctrination by the media, entertainment, education and the political left?

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey is seeking help from the National Guard to control a wave of violent riots across the state, following the police killing of unarmed black civilian George Floyd.
Following widespread looting, a shooting, and police using tear gas on Wednesday night, Frey has asked for the state’s National Guard to be deployed.
The mayor said he has spoken with the governor’s office “several times” about the riots, and has also requested the help of state police.

“I cannot risk the safety of innocent people and so that is what I've been sworn to uphold and that is what I am dedicated to do,” Frey told a local NBC affiliate. “We can have both things. We can have peaceful demonstrations, but I also have to ensure the safety of everyone in the city.”
Governor Tim Waltz tweeted on Wednesday night that protests had created an “extremely dangerous situation,” and advised citizens to avoid certain areas in the state.

Videos from the city show scenes of chaos, with rioters looting and burning entire buildings to the ground.

There have also been reports of a homicide as police are investigating an alleged looter being shot by a pawn shop owner.

Businesses including Target and AutoZone were reportedly looted, and Minneapolis police have been supported by nearby St. Paul officers.

The protests, which the mayor says began “peacefully,” started following the death of local black man Floyd in a case of suspected police brutality. Video of the incident shows an officer with a knee on Floyd’s neck, suffocating him as he struggles to breathe. Floyd was unarmed.
The mayor has called for the officer to be charged, saying if he had been a man of color, he’d “already be behind bars.”

I will not do thread drift, I will not do thread drift, I will not do thread drift...except anyone who thinks that "all" of the "native peoples of the Americas had "no unity among them" or didn't live "anything but a stone-age cultural existence" has failed to utterly to study their history.

Now I repeat to myself again, I will not do thread drift, I will not do thread drift....

Looting Rainbow with employee's inside. Not good. Rainbow MAJOR food market for them. Almost, but not quite, feel bad for the non-combatants.

40mm and gas capable 'mobile cart team(s)' getting ready. They're going in.

I posted yesterday (on this thread) about the Minneapolis PD and city government having lost their balls and having gone into self-protection survival mode in the face of the rioters. I'll also note the arbitrary nature of American policing later.

The outcome of this riot situation was easily foreseeable. By not acting immediately and aggressively against the rioters and looters, the police (and municipal government) ensured the escalation. If the police dealt with the first few rioters with 00 buck, the rioting would've ended RTFN.

Right about now, some of you fainting violets are probably gasping in horror, "Buckshot? Against poor, oppressed people? Oh, the humanity!"

Here's the deal: As soon as the protests became exercises in looting and arson, we moved from Constitutionally-protected activity right into felony territory. "What felony activity?" you might ask. Besides the aforementioned arson and theft, you have conspiracy to commit theft, conspiracy to commit arson and (conspiracy to commit other crimes). So far we've also seen homicide and aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit rioting.

The supreme irony is that while the Minneapolis PD obviously used excessive force in arresting George Floyd for what may have turned out to be a non-crime, they quail in fear at actually performing their law enforcement duties against blatant felonious conduct. Why? Two reasons as far as I can see: The cops are genuinely fearful of getting hurt (or killed) and the feckless city administration is not backing up a forceful response. IOW the cops are pussies and so is the mayor. The rioters sensed this immediately and the criminality spread apace.

Now the city has suffered homicide and injuries, millions in property damage, the loss of whatever reputation it previously enjoyed and the riot contagion is spreading across the country.

Thanks, Minneapolis.

100mm mortars with proximity fuses would be useful in slowing this down.

Doc, I have to disagree with the Lost Ball Theory of Social Implosion you present. I'm firmly convinced it's a strategic choice made because some special interests are best served by the images and facts on the ground of chaos and destruction. There is a global power struggle going on, and they're playing for keeps-

..and the sides are in no way limited by state or national borders.

Lots of conflicting stories on that moron. Supposedly she's not "elderly", she's 30, and she can walk just fine. Cue The Twilight Zone theme music!

(I don't know what her original idea was, but I doubt she was looking for the reaction she got! I find it hard to believe Anyone over the age of 5 could actually think they could "reason" with a mob of looters...)

I agree, Doc... and while I normally support law enforcement, the fact that there were several cops on the scene of the Floyd murder, and NONE of them intervened or even questioned any of the actions of the others tells me that department is rotten from the head down.

But it stinks that they are calling in OUTSIDERS to try to clean up THEIR MESS... probably figuring that if (when?) some of the "protesters" get hurt or killed, it will give the city and department "Plausible deniability"... at least in their own deluded minds. Pussies about covers it.
