I don't like the idea of a riot, but to "enforce an unlawful assembly"? WTF! Assembly peaceful or not is a basic right we have. Until they are violent, they are good to go. Leave them alone.

Once the riot starts, I have no problem with the police going with something other than rubber bullets. That fact they do is something we need to discuss. Fewer incidents if you have a couple extra dead here and there

Rapper Cardi B says the people who broke into and looted stores in Minnesota on Wednesday were left with “no choice” but to resort to violence and steal from stores in response to the death of George Floyd, whose neck was kneeled on by Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin.
In footage broadcast all across social media, protesters have seen looting stores and vandalizing places all over the city. Yet according to Cardi B, rioters were left with no choice but to resort to violence.
“They looting in Minnesota and as much as I don’t like this type of violence it is what it is,” she wrote on Twitter. “Too much peaceful marches, too much trending hashtags, and NO SOLUTIONS! The people are left with NO CHOICE.”

I really don't argue in this case about the violence. I think there is a need for more. The problem is that they are targeting the wrong group of people with their violence. Go after the politicians. Mayor, Governor, Legislators. Those are the proper targets.

Yeah...the Broadcastify feed was cut, but I think the cops finally wised up and went to some other secure channel. Those Broadcastify transmissions are nothing but reception from somebody's home rig put up on the site. The cops were freely broadcasting their moves to anybody with a cell phone/internet connection, including the rioters - idiots.
I'm peeved that TPTB called in the State Patrol last night, and now the Guard guys. They got no dog in this fight, and they don't deserve being offered up into the teeth of this shit. The Minneapolis police had hundreds out there with their thumbs up their butts doing nothing while stores were looted and burned...sissy mayor, foot-dragging DA and Keith Ellison at State Attorney General. Good gawd. Let THEM clean up the mess THEY created.
