Hey guys. In the past I have posted several threads here on TB2K showing the ballistics test we are conducting as well as upgrades we have done on guns. We have lots more content in the works. I had a similar series of information on another forum in the past on a different subject matter and ended up posting any new content in the same original thread. By doing so it allowed a new comer to start at the beginning of the thread and follow along as we progressed through content of our work over time. It worked out great and people liked being able to come to one thread to see what was going on at the time or to look back at past posts. This way you can scan through the pages and if something catches your eye you can check it out or maybe just check out the latest thing going at the end of the thread.
Mods I hope this is OK. This way only one thread will be popping up from time to time and not clutter the forum with bunches of threads over time. If not please let me know and delete if you must.
As this thread progresses its gonna get complicated to follow along if you just randomly post a comment and do not "Quote" the particular post you are commenting about so I suggest "Quoting" unless of course its just a random post of yours telling me how great this thread is . This way months down the road if you comment on a post from early on we will all know where you are coming from.
Anyhow I have two posts showing our latest content that should be up as fast as this old slow outdated computer will allow.
First is the latest video where we start shooting at distances more in line with realistic hunting at least in our scrub brush forests of Upstate South Carolina. We will be getting into some long range stuff eventually. Its gonna take time to get things rolling. If you watch any one of these videos it just appears to be random information. As time goes on and we build more content I think you will start to realize the relevance of our work as you will be able to go back and see how a particular round performs over another in a given test we do with them or other functions.
Hey guys! Thanks for stopping by. This is the first installment into our Practical Hunting Ballistics series. Here we'll show you accuracy, penetration, and terminal ballistics for a large variety of cartridges, enjoy! We do an accuracy test on paper, shoot water jugs for penetration comparisons and shoot a Boston Butt to see how the bullet performs in meat.
